Mrs. Malone giggled. But soon after, the phone rang. Mary Malone got up and picked it up. “Hello, Hello” said a woman with a familiar voice “Hello? Who is this?” said Mary. “Hello? Ah yes, this is Martha, Patrick's mother. We heard about what happened, and…” Martha’s voice wavered “Oh, I can assure you that the police are doing their best to find the man behind all of this madam.” replied Mary. “Who is this again? And can I please speak to Mary?” asked Martha. “Speaking, so what can I do for you Martha?” said Mary. “I was wondering, if you would like to come over to our house for the night while the detectives finish up their work.” “I would love to! I’ll pack my things and let the police know I’m leaving” “Ok, you know where our …show more content…
How could she have done?” Mary then realized that they were talking about her, but before she could act, she heard a crash from the other room. She walked in, and a vase had shattered on the floor. The window was open, and the cold air had blasted in, knocking the vase down. Mary walked over and closed it. She sat down on the bed, and noticed that all of the blankets had messed up, but before she had left, they had been almost perfect before she had left. She could begin to hear a howl, and then it grew louder. It got so loud that her ears felt like they were about to burst. She closed her eyes, and threw the covers over her head. She felt as though she was spinning around in circles. The howl began to grow louder, and louder. Other noises could be heard like dogs barking, people screaming, and things being shattered. It was just chaos. Suddenly, it all stopped. She opened her eyes, and took her hands off of her ears. She slowly took the covers off, and looked around. Everything was fine, perfect. She heard nothing. Everything was silent. A few minutes later she could hear someone talking to her, repeating the same thing over and over
"My mother and I are estranged, have been for years. My father died when I was young," Mary Alice said.
Mary Jane Kelly was the last victim by Jack the Ripper. On November 9, 1888 early in the morning Mary was killed. Her body lied naked in her bed. The body was positioned weirdly. She had her thighs and abdomen removed, and so were her breasts. These pieces were placed on the table beside her. She had cuts around her neck and all over her face.
After analyzing prior situations and keeping in mind the perspective of novel, Clare’s killer has an obvious answer. Clare’s husband poses no real danger to Clare when he comes bursting into the party. Jack is outnumbered by the many black men in the room. They can easily prevent him from getting near Clare. He has only appeared up to three times in the novel. Every other time he is only mentioned in passing. If he was Clare’s killer he would been brought up more. Jack is also quiet a distance away from Clare as he is at the entrance while she is on the other side of the room. Clare would not have committed suicide because, she is not upset. She eventually wanted out of her marriage and her husband finding out her true racial heritage is the perfect way out. She smiles also seeing no danger in the situation. Brian did not kill Claire because like Jack, he is on the other side of the room amongst a throng of people at the entrance. There is no motivation as there is no affair. Irene even said she had no proof of infidelity
In Katherine Ramsland’s article “Murder by the Book: The Murder of Karyn Slover,” she tells the story of the mysterious murder of a 23 year old mother who seemed to vanish with no reasoning in central Illinois back in 1996. Ramsland begins by telling how an abandoned car was left on the side of the road with it still running, the headlights on and the driver door still open. Police searched the car and found a drivers license with Karyn Slover’s name on it, yet the car belonged to David Swann. The police reached Swann and told him of Karyn’s disappearance, which he then told the police how she was borrowing the car to pick up her son at the Slover’s household. The author continues on about how Swann filed a missing-persons report
After the horrible news Patrick gave Mary, in shock, all of her anger and confusion led to her sudden

“No, this is a personal trip. Though it wasn’t me who blew up your precious police station.”
As I stepped outside, the cold suddenly rushed to me, wrapping me inside of it. The leaves rustled by on the garden path. My first thought was to go back inside, but I decided to be that wonderful father, and make sure that everything is ok. So I kept walking forward, being careful not to trip on the dark, bumpy dirt path. Then I heard the noise again, a faint vooing, like voo voo voo getting louder and softer. I followed the sound, and then all of a sudden, it stopped. I listened really hard, but i couldn’t hear anything anymore. My conscious said to just go back, but my body took another step forward, for what reason, I have no idea. Then my body felt like it was being stretched apart and all i could hear was VOO VOO
I read the paper as Melinda hands it back to me it says “I didn’t call the cops to break up the party, I called them because some guy raped me. Under the trees.I didn’t know what to do. I was stupid and drunk and didn’t know what was happening and he raped me. When the police came, everyone was screaming, and I was too scared, so I cut through some backyards and walked home.” I hate myself right now I ditched our friendship because she broke up the party and almost got me arrested. I didn’t even listen to what her side was. I swore that I’d never be her friend again when I should’ve. No wonder why she’s changed so much.
For our first piece of evidence is Patrick leaving Mary for another women. When Patrick got home that day it was no surprise that Mary was waiting for him. She automatically knew he was acting strange. He then said “I’ve got something
Tizio brought Painted Girl home after a long day of work. There was an odd car in the driveway. Painted Girl got out of Tizio’s truck and waved goodbye to him. She made her way up the walkway, pausing to look at the plain stoop. Beige siding, railing and door, the only color change was from the off-white concrete. She made mental plans for the entrance but wondered about the spiffy new Land Rover in the drive. She sighed. She hoped that Sarah had followed the plans for the house. It was written down in clear English, all she had to do was follow directions. She continued to hesitate worried that the house would be chaotic. She wanted to be home for Christmas. She reached for the door handle but it was jerked out of her hands and she
I got away with it, I never thought I would. I planned, and successfully kidnapped and murdered Dorothy Jane Scott. My brilliant plan worked, and I was never caught. I stalked Dorothy everyday. I knew everything about her. I knew where she was every second of the day. I still haven’t been accused of anything, and I don't think I ever will. I am proud of what I have accomplished, even if it means I could be locked up forever.
In the story “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl, Mary Maloney is a deceptive criminal. At this point in the story, Mary travels to the grocery store to create an alibi for herself. After she talks with Sam the grocer, she returns home and calls the police. Sobbing, she uses her alibi and pretends she does not know how the murder occurred. Dahl writes, “Is he dead? She cried. “I’m afraid he is. What happened? Briefly, she told her story about going to the grocer and coming back to find him on the floor. While she was talking, crying and talking...” (Dahl 9). The act of Mary killing her husband is a crime, which makes Mary a criminal. She simply killed her husband without a second thought, not remembering that she had been with him for years
“You are welcome Mr. Frenchi but why was I called here? Why is my mother here?” I asked in a tense voice.
Scott was... done. Just done. He supposed Mitch noticed the difference over the last few days, but he really couldn't care. He killed... no, helped kill Alex. He tossed his body out of the window and pulled off all his fingernails. He even held the poor bastard's mouth open as Mitch ripped out all of his teeth. Scott released a bitter laugh and lowered his head, avoiding his reflection with an even more bitter grin. He assisted in a murder.
