Daniel is a fighter in Daniel's Story written by Carol Matas. Daniel is a fighter because he stands strong against the Germans, he's brave, and he's a survivor. The first reason why Daniel is a fighter is because he stands strong against the Germans. For example, when Daniel was walking home some German kids try to fight him and his friends. The German kids got taken down. He also stands strong against the Germans by taking secret pictures behind their back. The second reason why Daniel is a fighter is because he is brave. For example, when they got transported to the new camp and Russia was coming closer, Daniel and everyone else fought back. Another example was he was brave when his family got taken away from him and he fought.
The parents have played a very important role in Daniels life. They brought him up always showing him what's wrong and what's right, what choices to make, and who to trust. Being a parent means that you should always be in control of your children for as long as possible. Daniel was said to be the type that needed guidance even though he came across as a strong and independent. His mother knew this, but even she was scared of what he was capable of. When times got rough the parents backed off and let him make his own choices. That wasn’t the best move to make. The parents might have shown love and affection to Daniel but they truly couldn’t see what was going on. If only they had paid enough attention to Daniel maybe they could witness how badly he was coming off the rails. They could of helped him. Helped him to make the right choices.
them to escape. This portrays his cunning bravery which saves most of his men and himself.
Daniel's story was about a boy named daniel, daniel was a jewish person that live in the time when hitler was sending jews to concentration camps also know as the holocaust. The holocaust was very bad it took jews away from their homes, jobs and families and friends. hitler hated jews because they took away jobs and they weren't actually germans.hitler killed about six million jew in a couple of years. they way he would kill them was to poison the air or burn them. they never could escape until the U.S. stopped the camps after the war.
So, he is serving in a war for a side that victory would not benefit him. That same night Knight’s nephew Daniel showed up at camp. He is extremely young but since he is poor and healthy he must serve. On Daniel’s first day Newt accompanies him into battle.
The group gives him new hope for survival. upon the arrival at Auschwitz, Daniel and his father are separated from his mother and sister, and the horrors of the camps are very well described. From being shaved and disinfected to watching other people which are the prisoners, being shot just for no reason, well Daniel continues to push forward through all of his dives to live and he will be reunited with this girl named Rosa. His father is his constant companion and they are able to see Erika. Which is Daniel’s sister. For brief moments on their way to work the Barracks he is now reunited by a friend from the lodz youth group and also he wants to join the resistance youth group too. He will have to take pictures of the crematoriums and also the body pits. The pictures will have to be smuggled out to show the allied forces to see what is really happening in the camp. He feels really good to be involved with the resistance youth group and loves the effort he puts into it. As the allied troops will move closer to the camps the selections and telling increases a whole
At the beginning of the bronze bow, Daniel feels hatred towards the Romans, he hates them so much, he is willing to leave everything and act irrationally to show his hate. Even near the end of the book, he throws the water bowl at the roman and nearly gets killed by a spear. When he gets to Joel's house, he is almost dead. when he gets good enough to think clearly, he tells Joel and thace about his vow of hate. They make a new vow of passion He hears about Jesus and it spectacle at.
That’s what he liked about Armin and the HJ, it’s what made them appealing, no matter what situations they may put him into. Daniel is very trusting with where he places his loyalty. So trusting, I’d say, that I would call his loyalty nearly puppylike, the way he blindly follows around his more assertive peers. This loyalty changes however, at the start of the Holocaust, when he discovers he is half-Jewish, and is forced to rethink all of the people in which he placed his trust. Many of which, he doesn’t find worthy for his trust anymore, after seeing what they really are. For example, on pg. 155, when he proclaims, “I’d decided I was not a German anymore. I’d been prepared to go to war and give my life for this country, this people. But that was a
Do you believe that moving to California can change the person they are? In the movie, when Daniel moved to the California, he felt lonely. He did not have any friends; he was frustrated and started begging his mom to go back home when the bullies made his life hell. After meeting Mr. Miyagi and his new friend Ali, who became his girlfriend, he started learning the lessons of life and started liking the new place. In the beginning, Daniel believed that karate was all about fighting, but after meeting Mr.Miyagi, he learned that karate is all about balance, which is important in a person’s life. When he got injured on his left leg during the final round in the karate championship tournament, he decided to play the final point by balancing himself on one leg, knocking down his opponent, and achieving victory. Overall, good friends and teachers have significant influences over a teenager’s life.
There are multiple examples, throughout this book, of bravery and how courage has changed the outcome of a battle or prevented disaster. In the beginning of this book, Sorrel the spy who is hired by General Longstreet, to spy on the Union spots the enemy troops less than 200 miles from their camp. He hurries back to warn General Robert E. Lee that their army must move to prevent complete disaster and the destruction of the Confederate Army. He travels through the night in the enemies territory to get this urgent news to General Lee. This was a brave act on Sorrel part as he was traveling at night and he traveled across enemy lines through the Picket Line which are the people that guard a armies cap to make sure they are not attack by surprise.
He is stunned by how The officer “casually raise his pistol’(36) and kills Aunt Leah. Daniel wonders how the officer could shoot Leah without showing emotion, casually as if he did this every day. Which he most likely did. Daniel is so impacted that he “doesn't even cry”, He knew that the Nazis didn't like Jews but how could this hatred justify for killing another human. And he wonders how his entire race is beginning to be wiped out, and few people even know. The significance of this of this event how daniel remembers Her. Even though she was strict she loved her children and made the ultimate sacrifice for them, but it was in vain. Daniel will remember her sacrifice and feel sorrow for all the people he has seen
I. Daniel appeared to be dealing with the adolescent stage. Daniel seems to have developed his sense of self worth by mimicking his older brother. Daniels significant relationships, since his brothers incarceration has been derricks old friends (the skin head group). The scene in the principle's office shows that Daniel is trying to live up to what he believes are his older brother's ideals, which he believes are following in the foot steps of Nazis. Hate anyone that is not white and
Daniel suffered individual discrimination from Farhad because Farhad perceived him as Latino, and thus thought he was deceitful and treated him accordingly. Later, when Farhad’s store was trashed because someone broke in through the faulty door, Farhad sought revenge on Daniel because he felt that he was responsible for the trashed store. As a result, Daniel became Farhad’s scapegoat for his frustration of having a ruined store because he did not listen to Daniel’s professional opinion.
When Eli blames the oil drill explosion on the well not having been properly blessed and demands that Daniel repay him his five thousand dollars, Daniel beats up Eli as he whimpers in a very female way. Any other adult could most likely have handled this situation better and more maturely than Daniel did; he humiliated Eli solely out of anger. When Daniel becomes suspicious of the man pretending to be his half-brother Henry, he simply kills the fake Henry out of rage for lying to him. When H.W. returns much later as a married adult and asks that Daniel dissolve their partnership so H.W. can establish his own drilling company in Mexico, Daniel feels immediately betrayed. Out of anger, he tells H.W. that he is not his son and is actually an orphan he never really cared about with the intention of emotionally harming H.W. in retaliation. In the final scene, Daniel murders Eli for basically assuming the role of main antagonist for Daniel throughout the movie. For each of these impulsive and violent acts, Daniel seemed to show little to no remorse afterwards, which is indicative of
1.) Music clearly means a lot to Daniel, as stated in his passage. Daniel talks about how he came from the “least musical of families” growing up, however, his mother signed him up for piano lessons anyhow. Daniel played the piano for quite a while, but eventually quit and worked in piano bars and theater orchestra pits at seventeen years old. Daniel stated some afternoons he would go to his friend Mikes house and listen to popular bands. One day, mike asked if he wanted to “hear something wild”. The something wild was Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. I think this is a point where the significance is clear. Daniel said that day was when he thought he actually heard music for the first time. Daniel took mikes tapes and listened to them in secret. He would blare Beethoven on the way to school, and quickly change it to KROQ while pulling in. Daniel was so in love this new genre of music he discovered, he decided to become a composer. He put in all the hard work: studied scores, read biographies, and got a serious piano teacher. Now Daniel lives in New York and is a composer of classical music for NewMusicBox. If Daniel never listened to the “something wild” he might have never had this future of becoming a composer.
Daniel is a seven-year-old male who is currently enrolled in the second grade in a public school. Recently Daniel's behavior has changed, and the mother expressed her concern about Daniel's lack of motivation to study and his aggressive behavior. She said that Daniel has always been a sweet and easy-going boy. Daniel has no history of medical complications, according to her mother, he has the vaccines up to date, and his last screening of hearing and vision was done by her primary doctor in January 2017, the results showed to be intact.
