Describe Your Career Progression

comes I'm hoping to be a professional cosmetologist working in a salon or even owning a salon myself in California or Mexico. My goal is to have completed beauty school, so that I can get my salon and be my own boss to bolster my family. I will not be such a reticent person anymore, but instead I will now be more communicative and vociferous. I will have a stable income and a family to look upon to. My plans are also to exercise more and be robust. My family is the most precious thing I have in the world because they are the ones who push me forward to succeed my dreams. One of the first things I want to do is travel. It would be an amazing experience to be able to visit places I have never before been able to see, such as New York or Africa. Another significant goal I want to accomplish is to give back to my community. I always had a multitude of opportunities given to me, and I want to do the same and give other young teens with dreams the same opportunities such as jobs and scholarships. As far as goals, I intend on graduating from college and fulfill my aspiration of having a professional career. Growing up, my father has always worked minimum paying jobs and living for paycheck to paycheck, while my mother has always been a housewife. Whenever it came to school, my parents encouraged me to do my best in my studies.

Overall, I just want to be contented with my life in the future and not realize that I am miserable and that I have wasted my life. In the near future, I also aspire to do well in all four years of high school. This also applies to college. Another goal for the future that I have is to get a scholarship for college because of the fact that I want to go to college, but I don't want to drown in college debt.

When I graduate for high school I want to go to East Carolina University to become a doctor, because the school is home plus it is one of the best schools that have a medical program, and I can work with babies and young people. I also want to have a small family and get married. I would like to have two kids, one a girl, one a boy or twins. I want to have a better life then what I grew up too plus giving them things that I didn't have. Also be a good role model to my younger brothers. To show them that anything is

When I get older I want to be a veterinarian. I want to travel to Hawaii because it's peaceful and the water is pretty. I want to live in the Bahamas because the weather is nice and the beach and water is pretty. If i were to get married it would be on the waterfront in the Bahamas or Hawaii. I eventually want to become a mom because i love children and i think they are so cute

Things I would like to own: I would like to own a house in California. My dad came from California, from a city close to Los Angeles. He lived in a city right next to the Pacific Ocean. My dream cars are the Lamborghini Aventador and the Nissan GTR and the Scion FRS. I hope to own one of these cars in my lifetime. I believe that if you work hard enough in life that you can accomplish anything. This is something that has been taught in my family since I can remember. As I have said before my dream is to open a restaurant and if I am successful at it then I want to open up a chain of restaurants. I would like to have my restaurants expand to Germany and Holland where my family has originated. I still haven’t got a chance to visit these countries, but I plan to in the near future. I also plan on sending my mom and my dad back to Holland and Germany for a vacation. They haven’t been in Germany and Holland since they were teenagers. These are some of the things that I would like to own in my life.

My future goals are to graduate high school, and swear into the United States Navy, go to basic, and when I complete basic, I will begin college to become a Radiologist. I will achieve these goals by setting smaller goals to work on achieving the higher, long term goals. The only improvement I could think of would be if I could have shadowed a single engineer for a period of time to see exactly what his job consisted of. I was almost always busy with a project so I was not able to continually watch what they were working on. I understand that while I am there to learn, they also expect me to contribute to the overall goals of the company.

Among these are finishing my studies and graduating as a psychologist, I would like to focus on the field of psychology-oriented in education and development. I see myself working anywhere along with children, teenagers or seniors. What I most want is to have a job that I enjoy and that motivates me to get up with energy every day. With the help of my job, I want to buy my own house. Among one of my goals is always to support my parents in everything they need as they have supported me. I want to travel and see many places. There are many things that I hope to accomplish and do when I get older. I want to improve and accomplish different things for myself in my career that I choose, in my material goals, and spiritually. I'm looking at the year of 2009, I will be out of college and be on my feet, hopefully. I have high expectations for myself and hope to accomplish as many of my dreams and goals as I can throughout my life.

I was fascinated to discover that my namesake was the co-discoverer of DNA, and, as a child, this coincidence undoubtedly influenced my love of science. I followed the scientific developments of the 21st century with interest - particularly genome project research. My studies continue to direct me towards this field: I want to be part of this on-going scientific revolution, which is constantly changing and influencing how we live our lives. My interest in biology grew with the IGCSE course, especially its introduction to fundamental genetic engineering.

As I sit down to take up a controller and power on the game console, I prepare for the amazing graphical fidelity, mesmerizing gameplay, and incredible music, it constantly reminded me how this one machine could do it all, as well as programs, computers, and code. 8th grade was where I began that journey to grow my liking for electronics. Now, Lehigh gives me the chance to continue my quest like an adventure game, a chance to reach challenges to solve and reach my ultimate goal. Exactly as I envisioned, Lehigh allows me to work with others, use my skills to practice out in the real world, and most of all, do research and create projects through ABET and Lehigh's Integrated Product Design (IPD) program. Lastly a long term goal for me in the future is to start a family. A family with a caring mother and loving home to come too everyday which is filled with joy and happiness. I would like to devote all my spare time to focus on my family. Including all members of my family including and not limited too their educations, health and personal needs. I will try to come up with the most plans in order to give my children the chance to improve their life skills to make sure they get into college and are able to start a career by themselves knowing that I am their when they need me.

Throughout my own personal career journey, I have met and worked with many wonderful people. Many challenges that I have overcome because of the help they gave me. There was a lot that I learned about youth development, working alongside these individuals. There was one person that from the moment we met, we knew that we were going to be an effective team and accomplish many things that would help the students we provided services for. As her assistant I learned to be assertive in a leadership role, to make decisions that would help the program succeed, and to create partnerships with other organizations that provide resources, not just for the students, also their families.
