It soon changes to admiration. “You look amazing. Especially with the white towel on your head.” “Oh, very funny.” “Seriously, though, you're rocking it in that dress. Hand me the black one, I’ll come back and help you with your hair and makeup.” As soon as she leaves, I stand before my full-length mirror to admire the silk, square cut dress that shimmers an iridescent blue and purple.
