I remember the day perfectly; my first day at this new, hot and sweaty school. I was sitting in photography class, the only class that I was excited about, because I appreciate the art of photographing so much. I love the thought of capturing a moment and keeping it frozen forever, all in this little eight by five piece of glossy paper. I walked in, looked across the room and there she was, this beautiful and breathtaking girl who was right in front of me.When I glanced up at her I could not look away, her appearance captivated me. I remember exactly what she looked like; she had on a red hoodie, a pair of skinny jeans, and black Vans. Her physical appearance was more desirable, she had beautiful, long brown hair that reminded me of a nice, warm cup of coffee. Her eyes were the color of the ocean, beautiful and light blue. Finally, what I feel like is the most important feature of her is her smile, the smile that drew me in from the moment I caught a peek of it. I knew from the minute I saw her that she was going to be the one person in this entire world that would actually treat me like I mattered. I knew that she would not belittle me for who I loved or what I decided to wear, this girl was indeed the one person who would turn my entire world upside down. After class I was pondering the thought whether or not I should approach her. She was so amazing and resilient that I was extremely anxious to talk to her. I recall thinking , “ What if she does
One day, I was walking home from the bus stop. It was the last day of school, but the first day of summer break. My mind was bursting of happiness since the first day of summer was starting and school was over until September. But I wasn’t fully happy because one of my good friends was moving. I WAS going to run home to play on my Playstation 4, NBA 2K17, but I decided to say goodbye to him. My last days of school are usually terrible but this year, something was different. I think that I was a little smarter than I was all the other years. Either I got hurt or I just had bad luck. Let me tell you the worst thing that has ever happen to me, which I’m currently laughing back at it as me being the dumbest kid that day. Let me start from
I don’t know how to start this, so, um, I’m just gonna dive right in and start from the very beginning. It started about three weeks before my senior year of high school, at first it was like quick snapshots of her features. I don’t remember what came first, it all happened so quickly, but I do remember her lips and her eyes. Her lips were full and pillowy, So plump, so beautiful, so perfect yet rarely complimented. Her eyes changed color they were a soft gray at first, slowly fading into a soft baby blue, gradually getting darker until they were a deep ocean blue, them they were green, a green that brings hope and life no matter what has happened, and before I knew it her eyes were a glimmering color of emerald. Before I could even comprehend what was happening her face was revealed, she is the definition of perfection. Than I woke up, and let me tell you, I was NOT a happy camper that day.
“The First Day” is a story about a five-year-old girl and her first day at school. "Even Sundays when I was in her womb, my mother has pointed across I Street to Seaton as we come and go to Mt. Carmel", her mother had always wanted her to go to Seaton Elementary School because it was right across from her church. However, when they entered the school to register, the teacher informed them that they lived "beyond the area that Seattle serves". When the young girl asked her mother “Mama, I can’t go to school?”, her mother responded, “One monkey don’t stop no show”.
As I stepped off of the bus, I looked at my surroundings. The first thing I saw was Sarah. The most beautiful girl on the planet. She had a perfect figure. She had long wavy blond hair that ran down her back, her eyes were dazzling, blue and sparkling. Her tan skin made her glow. As if you already couldn't tell. I had a huge crush on this girl.
the waves were rolling off the shore and the sun's rays were dancing on the water,
It’s been eight antagonizing hours and now the moment has finally arrived. As if it has soaked up a liter of Pepsi, my hand begins to shake with excitement as my pointer finger reaches for the mouse. With no direction needed to its location, the mouse quickly moves towards the shut down button on my computer screen. I feel energy gaining with each passing second, and then suddenly, “Your computer is unable to shut down at the moment, please wait for all of the programs to close.”
Today is my last day of this journal entry, but my first day of continuing my recovery on my own. I am going to continue this journey and I am not going to stop now. No more coffee or caffeine for me. I want to live a healthy life and this is only the beginning. Several days and I have not experienced a headache, I am sleeping better and I am more alert throughout my day. I am not going to lose contact with my family, friends, and coworkers who have offered their support doing this journey. I will make sure I keep them updated on my progress. Prayer and faith are what kept me grounded doing this assignment. My strong prayer life and faith will continue.
On the first day of school, my mom took pictures of my sister and me as we were in a rush to catch the school bus. I remember getting on the bus and looking at unfamiliar faces. I took a seat next to my sister, seeing picturesque views of the mountains and farms nearby. We got to school and I met my new teacher, Mrs.Fallari. She seemed nice. The morning class flew by and next was lunch. I walked into the cafeteria not knowing where to sit. I sat at an empty table until a small brown-haired girl came over. She said “My name is Jessica. What’s your name”? I replied “Alissa”. After introducing ourselves, we talked about our favorite colors, hobbies, and interests and realized how much we had in common. We both liked blue and
It was 7 AM I felt a tap on my shoulder . I’m slowly open my eyes it was blurry all I could see was my mom's beautiful smile I tossed and I turned and she just laughed because the hell I didn't want to get up that morning. It was my first day at a new school I looked over to the right and I can see my outfit on my desk chair, “ my mom can tell I was pissed so she looked over at me and asked, “what's wrong I thought you would be excited new school new start”! I explain to my mom that starting school wasn't the happiest time for me but I'll try my best to smile every now and then? I mean it is what it is isn't it. as my mom so he exited my room I began to get out to start getting ready, I put on the outfit . that I sit out the night before. I then walked over to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth and washing my face I put my hair in in this ugly ponytail but I honestly couldn't care less about the way I looked. I walked back into my room and stuff and put on my new shoes that my mom insisted that we would buy. as

It was so hot outside i had to stop and take a break. I sat on a bench faraway from other people so i can cool down. Where i sat was a lot of shade so I started cooling down fast then suddenly I felt a cold breeze shiver down my spine and as I turned around i see a tall skinny man behind me. He was sort of hunched over and had a mischievous smile on his face he stepped closer to me and said, “My you have very beautiful eyes and nice tan skin! I’m sure the color green would look so beautiful on you.” I gave him an awkward smile and nervously said ‘T-Thank you..” “Here take this necklace I’m sure you’ll take very good care of it.” he said with a devious smile on his face. The necklace reminded me on an ancient Egyptian actifact, it had gold with emerald jewels on it and in the middle has a big golden beetle with small rubies on it. Amazed I said, “oh no sir i can’t take that, it must of costed you a fortune.” he came closer making me fear for my own life and he firmly said, “Take it..I insist” i just nodded my head i fear and watched him leave. The necklace is very beautiful, but why would give it to a random stranger? I continued shopping trying to forget what just happened. I got many compliments on my new necklace and many people tried to buy
Fear began taking once again. I was I was walking into my first school in America. I had traveled a long separation from Bangladesh keeping in mind the end goal to join my mom, who had been here United States for a long time, trusting America would help my future. In my nation, all people dreams to come America to on the grounds that America is an affluent nation. However my dad concluded that I would be in an ideal situation going to class here, so I admitted in the Cambridge Public School in my new town Cambridge, MA. My first day at school was extremely terrified and uneasiness.
It was a hot day in Borrego Springs. My Dad, my best friend Sean Maloney and I were going on a long ride around Borrego Springs. We got geared up and I was excited to ride my new bike it was a blue and white Yamaha TTR250. My dad came home one day with a new bike a couple of days before the trip, then we went on a ride.
After a deep sleep, my phone was crowded with alarm notifications. However, I did not wake up until my mother came to me. Ugh, it was really awful to leave my warm bed and go to sit on a rough chair. I opened the cottage window to take a fresh breath. The chirping of birds infiltrated to my ears, and their tweets gave me an optimist energy to start my day.
She is the prettiest person that I know. She’s smart, funny, interesting, and one amazing fine arts student. I some times imagined us dancing together, slowly and methodically. Just the two of us on a dim light stage with a Righteous Brothers song playing in the background. I can always see her face when I picture her, her hair, a beautiful dark brown that went down to the top of her back. If the sun hit it just right she looks as if a phoenix rising from the ashes in sheer fiery beauty. It would seem my heart would skip a beat each time it happens. Her eyes, I could have stared into them for hours and just become lost, only to come back to reality from the sound of her voice, smoother than silk. She always greeted me when I entered the room, always said goodbye, could tell when I was falling down, and what could cheer me up. What we could’ve been if I had only said “yes.”.
Sweaty palms, shortness of breath, stomach locking it was the first day of school. I was already late for school because my little sister slept under the fan and caught a cold that night so mom had to quickly find a baby sitter. Thinking to myself “can my day get any better.” I already had a lot to think about I was the new kid. That’s where the pressure was at I wondered if kids was going to like me, if I had anyone to sit at lunch with or if anyone thought anything wrong.
