When the wheels of my plane touched down at the airport in DC, I did not know how to feel. I was about to spend five days in a city that I had never been to with fifty other students that I had never met, learning about journalism, something that I had only just begun to sprout an interest in. Three months ago when I had received the email saying they had selected me people told me this conference changes lives. I did not think that would ever be true. I thought that was all marketing, and I never thought it would end up as an understatement.

This conference seems to be the pinnacle point for participants to a) network/connect with current customers in addition to establishing new ones b) the distribution of new product concepts/designs that are promising for the future of that industry. If the final solution to this problem into being to move the conference to another date, there is a possibility that managers will have difficulties scheduling the speakers that were originally lined up. Dissolved oxygen is oxygen that is trapped in a fluid, such as water. Since many living organism requires oxygen to survive, it is a necessary component of water systems such as streams, lakes and rivers in order to support aquatic life. The dissolved oxygen is measured in units of parts per million (ppm). The city council of Atlanta, Georgia servers as a local legislative government branch. The council is made of the president, Ceasar Mitchell and fifteen members elected from district within the city. The city of Atlanta is broken up into twelve different districts and three post, each councilmen is responsible for representing the needs and wants for their district. The members of the council are elected by the citizens, and they work together to pass laws, make general policies, supervise city government, and appropriate funds for various needs. Usually, council meetings are open to the public, and public input is welcomed. The majority the councils work is done in committees. In the committees proposed legislation is debated and the members of other government branches and the public are given a chance to comment. Each council member serves on at least three of the council's standing committees, and select committees and panels. This week the author had the chance to attend a City of Atlanta council committee meeting and view how the meeting was conducted and went.

I went to Tampa General Hospital Fall Repiratory Care Conference that was held October 27, 2015 at USF CAMLS building downtown Tampa. I chose to try and attend two events in case I could not make one. Working in patient care means that sometimes you won't get out on time to make your arrangement.

Information technology is a rapidly growing part of today's society. It affects everyone's life in many aspects. Every human endeavor is influenced by information technology and the increasing rate at which what it can perform includes. One area of human endeavor that information technology has greatly influenced is the practice of medicine, specifically veterinary medicine. Not only has veterinary medicine been influenced by information technology, it has also been enhanced by it. The degree to which the practice of veterinary medicine includes information technology is observable at the Animal Emergency Clinic of Central New York on Erie Blvd. in Syracuse, New York.

The reach of our Festivals is expanding rapidly, but we are also retaining the partners we have developed over the years. This year we have hosted more than 40 festivals in 15 states and 5 foreign countries, reaching more than 5000 students. Of these, 22 festivals were hosted by new partner institutions. A software engineer is a licensed professional engineer who is schooled and skilled in the application of engineering and applies that discipline to the implementation and creation of software. A software engineer is often confused with a programmer, but the two are vastly different disciplines. In the field on computer science there are many misconceptions when it comes to the different disciplines within the field. With one of these misconceptions being what a software engineer is and does. Yes, being a software engineer does require you to have a foundation of programming skills but that doesn’t mean that all they do on a day to day basis is sit at a desk all day and write lines after lines of code. As stated before software engineers are very often confused with computer programmers. Yes, both fields require skill sets in computers and programming languages but what people may not know is that they are two very different fields. Programmers create the code that makes the infrastructure for the software and they also make sure it runs and operate properly where the software engineer is responsible for design and implementation.

September 13 is the day of the programmer. A day in which we celebrate the clever, and often mysterious, work programmers achieve that help the modern world keep spinning. Programmers come in many forms, from web developers and front-end developers (those who take the design of a website and bring it to life using an array of languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS) to software and application developers (those who gather feature requirements for software, design a solution and implement the intended features).
