Diaphoresis is represented by the integumentary system. It is the medical term used to describe excessive, abnormal sweating in relation to your environment and activity level. This condition is also sometimes called secondary hyperhidrosis. Common names include, sweat bullets, sweating, perspiration and transpiration. Sweat is normally created When the body temperature rises. Once this occurs, the nervous system sends signals to the sweat glands to release salty fluid. As sweat evaporates, this fluid cools the surface of the skin and helps reduce the core body temperature. On the other hand, excessive sweating is associated with a broad range of conditions. Such conditions include but is not limited to; pregnancy, menopause, hyperthyroidism
