Discrimination. We all hear different stories about it. Some of us may have even already experienced it. But what does discrimination really mean? Who are the people affected by it? According to Merriam Webster, discrimination is the practice of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of people. Many people think discrimination is all about race and class, but many forget that it is about gender too. Now, do not just think about it as sex, being male or a female depending on biological features in the human body. However, having a certain set of ideals and standards can lead to a very generic way of life. Life is supposed to be fun and exciting for one’s self and people around you.
