Walt Disney is well known for many reasons, he won 7 grammy awards, 22 academy awards, and many more accolades, but he is also well known for achieving his unbelievable dream. I believe it is worth it to dream because it makes someone put effort into something that they want and so it makes them less lazy, they get a good feeling if they reach your dream, and even if it is not accomplished, they still learn from what they should and shouldn't have done.
First, it makes someone put effort into something that they want, it makes people less lazy. We Beat The Street, (George W. Jenkins, Rameck Hunt, Sampson Davis, and Sharon Draper) is a book about 3 doctors who have to work hard through a lot of tough times to achieve their dream. All of the doctors grew up in a Newark, with drugs, peer pressure, and a high crime rate. For these doctors, their dream did not come easily, they had to work harder than anyone else just to get through high school and into college. Dreaming does make people less lazy because they are putting forth the effort into something they want. Another reason why it is worth to dream is that the person accomplishing the goals gets a good feeling if they do accomplish their dream. Dreaming comes with a lot of challenges and struggles, like in the book We Beat The Street (George W. Jenkins, Rameck Hunt, Sampson Davis, and Sharon Draper). These three kids dream of becoming doctors, but in the neighborhood where they grow up they had a lot of struggles. They made mistakes, but in order to become a doctor, they had to learn from those mistakes and use what they learned. Peer pressure, stealing, and drugs surrounded them since they were little, and sometimes they did fall into peer pressure, but they always learned their lesson from it and didn’t do it
