Introduction:
A. Get the reader’s attention by using a "hook." Do you think Donald Trump is the right person to be president? B. Give some background information if necessary. Donald Trump is a very successful businessman who has recently became a Republican presidential candidate for the 2016 presidential elections. His polls continue to grow for the Republican presidential candidate and he seems to pick up more and more followers every day.
C. Thesis or focus statement. Donald Trump should not be president because he would ruin our country.
II. First argument or reason to support your position:
A. Topic sentence explaining your point. He wants to ban all Muslims from entering the country.
B. Elaboration/Example to back your point. Not only does this go against everything America and the Constitution stand for, buyt it literally cannot be done. There is no way to tell somebody's religion other than just trusting that they are telling the truth. So, if he wants to ban Muslims from entering the country what will he do with the people already here? Do they get kicked out?
III. Second argument or reason to support your position:
A. Topic sentence explaining your point. He has said many frightening statements that should worry everyone.

He also has many quotes which give him a bad name and gives the impression that he's completely irrelevant and ignorant. An example of this is when he wanted to boycott Starbucks for no longer celebrating Christmas with their new red cup design. How pathetic is it to boycott over a dumb cup? He posted a tweet that said he wanted to see Obama's college records to see his place of birth. He strongly thinks Obama isn't a U.S. citizen.
