Dreams-For-Survival Theory

When you have a precognitive dream it will give you a premonition of the future, yet it is rare that your dream will reveal the exact manner your future will happen. Instead, your dream will come in symbolism or an event happening. You may have no idea what it means, which is why I suggest you make a record of it for future reference. Please write down your feelings in the dream, especially if it felt like this was going to happen in the future.

Dreams have long fascinated the human race. This alternate reality, separate from the conscious world we see around us, has captured the interest of many people throughout history. In fact, mankind has been studying dreams since the invention of the written word. Perhaps the lure of dreams is that there seems to be some significance behind them. Most reject the idea that dreams are just random meaningless fragments of data. The vivid sensations that dreams create are just too powerful to ignore. The world of dreams is filled with peculiar phenomenon and unexpected events that beg our attention. Consider the following example of a dream:

When looking into the meanings of dreams, a variation of things can be found. Most people believe that dreams are a reflection of people’s inner thoughts and feelings. Most of these feelings are too private to be expressed in the real world and that is why they are expressed in a fantasy type way through dreams.

I remember having dreams and when I have had them they were very interesting, and I wander why. 1 Reading the text book, it says most people dream four to five times a night, but not all people remember their dreams upon awakening in the morning. Non-dreamers are often surprised by their dreams when they first awake. (Dennis Coon, 2016). 1 How meaningful are dreams? Some theorist believe that dreams have deeply hidden meanings. Others regard dreams as nearly meaningless. 2 Yet others hold that dreams reflect our waking thoughts, fantasies and emotions(hartmann,2011). I also looked up on the Dream Bible which I never knew that these sites exist, so it was very interesting reading the different sites. 3 The dream Bible says

In the start of the dream I was dreaming and woke up to write down that dream in the journal. Unfortunately, I could not remember the dream and I felt stressed and pressured to have an interesting dream. When I finally woke up my dream journal was blank. The reason I dreamt about writing in the dream journal is because three day before, my teacher assigned us to write al of our dreams down and I never could remember my dreams so I felt stressed to have at least ten dreams. In the dream I was frustrated because I couldn’t remember the dream. The dream had no meaning because dreams are just neurological firings that are synthesized by the upper brain.

Dreams are scenarios your mind creates which represents who you truly are, were and are destined to be. You 're mind creates illusions that either further enhance your knowledge on what your purpose in life is or could make you fear it. Dreams are essentially part of the foundation of a persons life. Rudolfo Anaya in the novel Bless me ultima uses the concept of dreams to demonstrate the growth and the loss of innocence Antonio faces from beginning to end.

To many people, dreams are the thoughts that occur while sleeping, having almost mystic qualities. For millennia the significance of dreams has escaped even the brightest of philosophers and intellectuals. Many people have speculated about why people dream and what meanings the dreams have but in recent times two theories have gained credibility in answering those questions. The first theory is Sigmund Freuds and the other is known as the cognitive theory of dreams also known as biological determinism.

There are many theories about why we dream, some say dreams have no meaning or purpose, others say dreams are required for emotional, physical and mental health. According to the activation- synthesis model of dreaming theory circuits in the brain become activated during the REM cycle, which causes areas in the limbic system involved in memories, emotions and sensations become activated (verywell.com/why-do-we-dream-top-dream-theories-2795931). Sigmund Freud’s theory on dreams suggested that dreams represented unconscious desires, thoughts and motivations (verywell.com/Freudian-theory-2795845). Though these thoughts are not consciously expressed, Freud suggested they make their way into awareness via dreams.

I have always been and independent person, and I am scared of relying on others because I do not like to be let down. I feel like this dream may be telling me to put my trust into certain individuals, or maybe I will end up alone, like my dream.

The dream that I chose to use interpret with the dream dictionary was about a car crash. I was in the passenger seat of a car driving up an overpass and the car fell off the overpass.

In my dream, I called up my father and talked to him. Through my mind's phone and video I traveled and sat with him. Talking to the family, listening to live music being recorded-- connecting with other musicians was my focus. We talked a lot about Jesus as He continued to feed us, living the life with my family of servants to our God and King. I am not the judge, I am learning to be the obedient, humble, servant son!

The mystery of dreams have fascinated people for years. Do they have significant meaning? Do they predict the future? Is our subconscious mind trying to warn us about our waking state of mental health and awareness? There are an abundance of websites and books that help interpret significant bits and pieces of dreams that we remember. Using a few of these websites I’ll interpret a few of my own dreams and what significance they may have had at the time that they occurred and how each one can be used as a coach for future challenges.

Dreams, one of the many dimensions in our mind, gives a lot of different information then we are use to having in the day. The subconscious mind that takes control when we sleep, takes care of our passive memories and holds the key to our lives. Dreams are what lead us to this key which unlocks the door to another type of wisdom. The farther we get

I dreamt that I was watching and talking to a bunch of children who each represented a different flash-card that I made. It was strange until the very end when it got scary and the kids began to back me into a corner, yelling random words.

I recently had a girl night out with one of my close friend. She decide to share a story about a dream she once had one night. One day she was driving down the street not paying attention to the speed limit and out of nowhere comes a police car pulling her over. She was thinking " OMG I'm about to get a ticket for speeding WHATEVER". Unfortunately, the police officers told her to " put your hands up and do not move". The officers rapidly walk up to her vehicle with two taser gun draw toward her window. She was so shock about the situation she couldn't believe it was happening to her.
