Second quiz for intelligence shows I have high percentage for Visual-Spatial and low for Rhythmic-Musical. Being a strong kinesthetic learner and with high Visual-Spatial intelligence, I will likely to teach by demonstration and less on reading and writing. Furthermore, I will have more hands-on and role-play and arts and crafts activities and less on reading and writing assignments. Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder, or ADHD, affects many children in the United States as well as young adults. ADHD in young children can lead to difficulty in concentrating and learning in school, as well as becoming a distraction to the classroom (Frazier, Youngstrom, Glutting, & Watkins, 2007). Throughout my time on placement in primary schools over the past four years, I have witnessed a variety of teaching strategies to get students motivated and ready for school in the morning. One approach I have seen in several schools is ‘huff n’ puff’, a morning activity in which students engage in some form of physical exercise, which may include running or active games outside. I believed this to be an effective strategy to release some energy and get the students settled down to learn.
