“Hello world! This is World Wide News bringing you the latest news around the world! Netscape CEO just confirmed that the satellite that will provide the first network in history to deliver information instantly has reached orbit of the black hole; C1117S though it will be a long tedious task of calculating the distortion of time that will allow the network to be instant. Some elements of writing (development, organization, style) fit task, purpose and/or audience; others are mismatched.

Throughout the semester I have explored many topics in sociology. While exploring these topics, three main theoretical perspectives were used. I will briefly illustrate each of the main theoretical perspectives of functionalism, conflict theory, and symbolic Interactionism. During this semester I have watched two films, Food Incorporated and The Vernon Johns Story. I will describe how a theoretical perspective is used in each of these examples. Then I will provide my own two examples where concepts and theoretical perspectives can be illustrated. My First example is the Boston Marathon Bombings and the second is the Mass Media’s coverage of the Boston Bombings.
In 1999 Asda became a subsidiary of the largest retailer in the world, Walmart. Asda operates within the UK grocery market and currently rank second. Asda's main area of business falls into the food sector and boast 500+ stores nationwide.
At the end of this semester, I have learned great useful skills about technical writing. The skills are very diverse that come from many lessons. Each lesson have their different distinctive features, so they have a lot of new knowledge that I do not know at first. Fortunately, I have soon realized these new knowledge are whole new valuable resources to me because they have not only helped me to obtain some learning outcomes of Salt Lake Community College but they also would be very useful in my future.
The purpose of this memo is to discuss my knowledge of technical writing and past experiences learning to write a technical document. My goal is to become a better writer and learn more about technical writing.
Writing is describes as a “new skill” for this writer who is expected to be turning to this guide for help with the skills needed “to write fine essays, letters, e-mails, and reports” thereby inferring that the writer has minimal experience with writing and needs to be shown “point-by-point through all the important English skills,” unlike the college freshman that is expected to have a basic understanding of writing (Rozakis 2000, p. xxiii). Despite the emphasis on genres of business writing—as seen in the table of contents—the writer is not limited to writing experiences in the business world, but instead is introduced to a variety of writing that includes research and term papers.
First, I would like to mention that English is not my first language and so in every English class I take, I learn a lot on how to improve my writing. In this technical writing class I was able to take away some useful pointers on how to better my writing style. The assigned writing assignments such as the proposal, instructions, and job application helped me analyze my audience and write to my targeted audience in a clear and an effective way.
While lawyers and traditional businessmen write more practical assessments, and business briefs, and those in more literary fields may have their time consumed by writing thick literary analyses of great works of literature, I have chosen a field of study with some rather different writing requirements from traditional writing. The main type of writing in in the field of computer science is the coding assignments given to students as practical lessons in coding different types of programs in different languages. Along with coding computer science majors also gain experience writing ReadMe files, along with more
