Saturday afternoon , Sam and Colleen arrive at the hospital to visit Erika. Henry leaves to run some errands and give them alone time together . Erika's skin looks pale from her accident , her eyes and mouth wide open , she takes a deep breath every two minutes. Her mom Mrs. White sits in the chair next to her holding on to her hand as she cries. “ Is she gonna be OK?” “ I don't know , the doctors say she's in a state of shock , something scared her to where she is like this .” Sam goes up to Erika holding her hand . “ Erika its me Sam , we miss you , I miss you.” He gives her a kiss on the cheek and whispers in her ear. “ I'll get Scratch for this , even if it takes my last breath.” He raises back up walking into the hallway to get a candy …show more content…
He closes his door running to the fun house , he enters inside . The interior was faded red and white colors with mold spreading . He comes into the broken hall of mirrors , where he hears his name in a loud drippy voice. “ Henry Lambert.” He stops where he is , looking all around , folding up his fist. “ I know your in here Scratch , I'm not afraid of you , so come out and face me .” “ You want to fuck with my friends , why don't you come out and fuck with me.” Henry walks around the broken mirror glass , he enters the tilted room , with a slide as an exit . “ Henry Lambert.” “ That's right , that's me , show yourself Scratch.” “ Or are you a pussy?” He then feels a hand turning him around , bright circus lights come on in there surroundings. Henry cracks his knuckles , facing Scratch , not showing any sign of fear , just anger. “ You really aren't scared of me , are you boy?” “ No , I'm not scared of anyone or anything.” Scratch laughs , scratching his nails against the rotten wall , making a little dust fall from the ceiling. “ Awaking you was a mistake , but whatever you're mad about , we had nothing to do with it. “ “ No , but your precious locals did . ” “ You think my life is perfect clown?” Scratch laughs walking closer to Henry. “ You don't know me , or about my life , consider yourself lucky.” “ What happened Scratch?” “ Tell me , tell us , make us …show more content…
“ Henry!” “ Your friends aren't safe , without you , as soon as I am stronger, I'm going after them first , so you can see your love ones die around you.” “ Once they're all dead , then I will find a way to get you last boy.” He laughs out loud , Henry drives off , exiting the Park , driving through the windy leaves. He stops on the side of the road , placing his head on the steering wheel , breathing. “ Goddamn it Henry Lambert , what have you done now?” Sam awoke the beast and now Henry has angered the beast , there lives were in more danger now. Henry arrived back at the hospital , picking Sam and Colleen back up , he drove back to his house. They all went in the back yard by the barbeque pit , Henry pulls out the bloody blue hair from a garbage bag. Colleen places her hand over her mouth. “ Henry what the hell did you do ?” Henry places the blooded blue hair on the pit , lights it on fire. “ I got back at him for what he's been doing to y'all , for what he's doing to Erika.” Sam points his finger at Henry. “ You didn't get back or even , you just pissed him off Henry!” Colleen starts slapping Henry all over , she then stops , crying into his chest , they all watch the hair turn to black dust inside the pit. “ I may have angered him , but I got a piece of that son of a bitch that he can't get back now.” “ He can't touch me , I don't fear him , y'all are safe
“I told you sweetie, she is in a better place right now. She won’t be coming home.” She looks up at me with tears in her eyes. “That’s not fair! Why would he leave us?” “It wasn’t her fault baby girl,” I say tearing up. “I WANT TO SEE HER NOW!” Amelia starts screaming. “You can’t see her!” I shout back.
“Of course they’re not alright you dolt. Why do you think they’re crying? They probably don’t want some nosy neighbor butting in on their buisness” He hears the crying stop. “Umm I mean. Sorry, I shouldn’t have said anything.” He shoves his face into his pillow. He hears a shaky voice from the other side of the wall. “Who are you?” says a voice Charlie would guess is male. He lifts his head up. “I’m your new neighbor the names Charlie, but I usuallyy go by Char.” The voice from the other side of the wall seemed to brighten. “Like from the book Ella Enchanted?” Char smiled. “Yeah. Hey, you know your the first one to get that?” There were a few moments of silence. “Really? Thats my favorite book. My mom always made fun of me because i was constantly rereading it. It just gave me hope that someday I could find a prince like that.” His voice cracked and I could hear him start to cry again. “Please don’t cry. Just tell me whats wrong and i’ll try to
William, Rachel’s three year old son is crying standing over her as she is slowly regaining consciousness. Her boyfriend, Daniel, was gone; their bedroom door was left cracked open and Rachel was on the couch in their room. Pained around her neck from where he choked her, she tries to wrap her head around how she got to this point. Why does Daniel hate her? What did she do this time? Can she, should she, just leave with William? Rachel realizes she has to get out of the house before Daniel gets back. When she arrives at her mother’s house, her mom is alarmed. Rachel has bruises around her neck and marks around her hairline. Rachel’s mother tells her “You come here every week and you go back to that monster every week. I see these bruises but you must not feel they are a problem since you keep going back to him.” Rachel’s mom walks out of the room frustrated.
Jackie and I were now halfway to where Mike’s car wreck took place, on Highway 46. The accident must have been pretty bad because it was reported on the news, a rare case, I thought to myself. I prayed Mike was going to be ok. The drive felt like it was taking hours to get to the scene . I could feel the tension in the car growing. The fact that one of our closest friends could be gravely injured was a slug shot from a shotgun into our chests. Jackie was still distressed as she drove; tears dripped from her eyes like droplets from a cool water bottle on a hot day.
“Well,” Mrs. Johnson interrupted, “how about we settled down and talk about our plans for the morning?” Everyone agreed and sat in a circle discussing their ideas. Next, they decided they should head to bed due to the early times they would have to wake in the morning. As they woke up, they put on their layers of clothes, grabbed their bags, and headed for the Johnsons’ business. They would be staying in an attic, which luckily had a bathroom, but would have to sleep all in one room. They set up their belongings and set rules which they would have to follow to stay safe.
The large cut on the right side of my forehead had begun to bleed again; my own blood threatening to choke me. “Calm down its ok. You're going through a rough phase that's all. Try to get some rest,” was all the comfort dad could manage before choking up into tears. He turned away as streaks of auburn curls lightly brushed against me, the owner tending to my wound. Rest, he says; not so easy when every time your eyes droop, the dreams begin. They have been getting worse, the closer I become in finding a way to bring her
Edie felt strange claiming ownership over her new bedroom, but also felt uncomfortable spending time with her housemates – who she considered strangers, despite being people who behaved as though they knew her well. As a result, she had taken to spending hours upon hours wandering around London every day. Fortunately, such a busy area allowed for numerous new experiences to occupy her time; in many ways, she found it rather pleasant. However, considering she hadn’t travelled there of her own volition, and came from a different time period in addition to a different country, she was also feeling overwhelmed by it all.
Scott and Katy followed quickly behind the ambulance, once they get into the emergency room they were told to sit in the waiting room. Katy continued to sob while biting her finger nails. The doctor came into the room “Scott Waters?” Scott stood up and Katy followed behind him. “Jamal is a very lucky kid, if the knife went one inch deeper his lungs would have filled will blood, which could have drown him in seconds.” The doctor informed them and invited them to visit Jamal. Their reactions were complete relief, when they got to his bed Scott asked “How’s it going kid?” Jamal gave him a look indicating that he was just fine because it hurt to speak. Katy was the only thing Jamal was thinking about; at this moment the two realized how much they liked one another. It became obvious to Scott that Jamal was there to protect his daughter; his respect for the kid grew stronger. Scott accepted the fact that they had something going on, jokingly he said, “Hey you two, no touching!” Katy softly kissed Jamal’s forehead and looked into his eyes with love. Jamal whispered in pain “Stay by me.” He reached for her
grabbed a towel and hot rag. Athena ran down the stairs and ran to the living room to give Lauren the towel and hot rag. Lauren placed the towel under her head and placed the hot rag on her forehead. Suzie looked outside and saw the ambulance. The first responder was a friend, “Sam”, said Suzie. Sam ran into the living
I’ve decided to finish telling about how I got sick, After all there is nothing else for me to do while I am stuck here. When I got home my mother was surprised to see me. And of course she was mad and I had to hear the “young man I am very disappointed in you, you’re better than this talk” Even though was barely listening my dad lectured me on and on about how they paid good money for me to attend Pency Prep, it’s not like I didn’t care but I didn’t really care and eventually I got up and went to my room. They were really stressing me out and I was depressed again so I sat down and I began to talk to Allie, because that’s what I do when I’m depressed. It comforts me and takes me back to a time when everything was ok. “Okay now, go home and get your bike and meet me out front of Bobby’s house. Hurry up.”
Once lunch ended, Emelia rushed to her father's room in hopes to speak with him. Upon reaching his room she couldn't help but feel slight terror that something had happened to him.
Josh was thankful and appreciative of the woman’s kindness. They slept for a while, being very tired. The lady helped them start off so they would not be hungry and still sleepy. Josh told the woman about his family in Chicago and why he had to go. The old woman allowed them to write to their parents. Josh immediately refused, but he said if Joey wanted to he could. Joey wanted to write a note, he knew he was not leaving Josh because they had to stick together. Sad, the two left the house in the early afternoon. They really liked the lady who fed them well and kept them warm.
The three girls rushed inside of the gymnasium and immediately halted. Eiko faltered before falling to her knees. They were too late. All twenty seven on their friends, rivals, fellow classmates… were all dead. Murdered in cold blood. There were body parts strewn everywhere. Entrails were hanging from the lights, and limbs were stacked up in the middle of the room like lincoln logs. Mariko narrowed her eyes, forcing herself to ignore the scenery before she lost her mind and had a mental breakdown. Kazue pulled her out of the way as a spirit arrow went gliding past the place where she was just standing. Kazue transformed and lifted them both into the air, into safety. Eiko was releasing all of her pent up frustration.
“Wendy! Wendy! Come on! We have to leave now if we want to get back before night time.” Jeorge complains. He is a very young kid; only a few weeks old, but he fits in with his older friends quite well. The older penguins even trust him to go to the fishing hole all by himself, which is unusual for six week old penguins. He was as wise as the oldest emperor penguin alive.
“Are you okay?”Interrupts the woman. “What?”. “You’re crying..” She said silently. I felt the cold tears stream down my face. I wiped them away with the sleeve of my dirty jacket leaving a streak of dirt on my cheek. I didn’t know what to say. Oh me? I am fine. I had just decided to just begin reminding myself of how much my childhood had fucked me up, nothing important. No. Too much. I sat there silently with a pure, but blank look on my face. I could feel my teeth start to
