“Who’s to look after him then? I could remain if it’s necessary..” Even if he doesn’t want to Yusuke is the newest member of the household, it only seemed fair if he remained. Akira’s head slowly shakes, showing his disapproval. “No, Zeriya is going to stay here to look after our prisoners. I suppose he can teach Shinya a few things while we’re gone too.” Yusuke’s mind reminds him of Zeriya’s ‘teachings’ and a chill runs down his spine from the thoughts. “H-Him..? Teach Shinya..?” “Yeah, I don’t have time for it and he’ll probably get bored. And why do you sound so nervous? He’s the one that’s going to be teaching you how to be a butler.” “No reason in particular.." Yusuke gulped, brushing that thought away. "You..don’t have a problem …show more content…
The progress of packing was moving along in a companionable silence, and was nearing completion when a reminder blooms in Yusuke’s mind. The gaze he holds on Akira lingers until the words had managed to form at his mouth. “I..uh, don’t wish to bring this up, but.. You..haven’t eaten since that..time.” The words don’t flow naturally, making Yusuke wish he had remained buried in his work. After placing a folded up shirt within the suitcase Akira’s hand halt on top of it, gathering his mind for a reply, yet it does not come, so he resumes his work with his mind ticking. “The manor..is more difficult to find people, right? So.. Shouldn’t..” The reason as to why this was so difficult to ask wasn’t apparent to Yusuke, but he seems to regret every word that manages to come out of his mouth. “I have some time left, I’m not that hungry thanks to your blood.” A sharp, confident reply manages to form once Akira had mustered an understanding as to what Yusuke was trying to articulate, but the conversation still felt unfinished. “So.. There won’t be a repeat of our last visit?” Yusuke had been folding up slacks while seated on the sofa, but a stack of them had accumulated to the point that he was starting to question if Akira had even grabbed any to put in the suitcase. “No, no repeat.” Akira
Why do we speak of ‘basic” rather than “primitive” religions? We speak of basic religion because basic religion came from prehistory or are practiced in remote places. And elements of the basic religions are found to some degree in all religions. Basic religions represent the majority of the total religious experience of humankind. While primitive religion carries with it connotations of being backward, simple, even childlike. Christian or Muslim or Jew may tend to look down on these religions as being superstitious, uncivilized, or even savage. The term is misleading in suggesting that the religions of those peoples are somehow less complex than the religions of "advanced" societies.
But Tom was not about to leave until his friend divulged the secret of his whereabouts over the last few weeks, and squaring his shoulders, he slowly shook his head. “Not until you tell me where you’ve been.”
Miles takes a step back as he gets good look at his friend. “Nothing, Bass. I don’t want anything. Here’s the note she left. If you think of anything, just let me know.” He says, tossing it on the cot. He opens his mouth to say something, anything, but words escape him. Turning on his heel, he leaves the tent.
“Yeah, but you need to make sure that you’re ready no matter what,” Kara replied.
“You will. You’ll be her guardian and safeguard her on this unruly journey.” Dominic was presently experiencing an information overload and feeling the pressure pounds him.
The creature locked eyes with Maia and pointed towards her. “We needed her, our master wishes for her to be with him, we must do what our master wishes.”
"Maya," Ash called out for her in a whisper from the other side of the room. She paced herself over being careful not to step on anything. Ash handed her the torch pointing his finger to a box located on the top shelf. The words had faded away over time but Maya's
“I’m not like everyone else though, so you see I wouldn’t leave like they all do. I am so much closer to you than you even know Vada. I know things about you that even your family doesn’t it’s like i’m in your head.”
“Hi, sorry, it’s me again. I just, uh, saw you still weren’t in line, so um… I brought you this,” I said, offering the food and drink again. He finally looked at me, but I could tell his eyes were slightly narrow. Was he suspicious of me, then? Was he surprised I’d do it twice? Maybe he wouldn’t take it a second time. Despite the thoughts running through my head, I smiled.
“Oh, no are you staying there? Please Tell me that you're going to come back next year.” A second year girl asks Nero, as he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly.
Lovino ripped off his shirt, ignoring the blush he felt appearing on his cheeks. “You heard me. I don’t have all day. I don’t know how long it’ll be until Grandpa gets back.”
“Remember, you said you would take me out tonight as you have been gone the last two weeks, I will see you in 45, I have made reservations at the Italian place and I look hot if I do say so myself.”
He answers "not now." Although from this it
“Sorry, I haven’t a clue,” he answered, smile smart. “Can’t help you out, so I guess I’ll see you around,” he stood up and watched Youma carefully, but the man just sighed and shook his head.
Having already talked about this previously, I sighed, "Way to approach the subject gently, Ryuzaki." I put down the bag with the hair and crossed my arms, preparing for the questions.
