Abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy. There are people who are pro abortion and there’s people who are against it. Abortion is a choice that should be allowed to all U.S citizens. There there’s the side that abortion is evil and cruel and humans have no rights to take another human beings life away. Taking both sides into consideration the answer came to a yes, abortion should be/stay legal in the united states. Reasons why abortion is good is less kids end up in adoption, religion, and poverty.
There are many reasons why people have abortions and not all reasons are good reasons but most are good reasons with good intentions. An example of a good reason for a abortion is keeping a kid out of a world where he isn’t really wanted by the person who gave them birth. There is nothing more heartbreaking than growing up thinking or knowing you’re not wanted. Not to mention that the adoption system is broken and practically pointless and put more

Eventually the earth's population is going get over populated and that’ll become a problem in the future. The way to stop that from happening is by either killing off the animals and becoming cannibals or limit the number of children to be had. Luckily that even will happen only if we become over populated but we won’t have to worry about it happening too soon if abortion stays legal (http://www.choicematters.org/2007/12/legal-abortion-arguments-pro-con/).
Reason number 3 is poverty. Poverty is the state of being extremely poor and having children cost and insane amount of money to care for. If forced to give birth because you don’t want to put them in the adoption system then you can go into debt. Forcing you to go broke if you don’t have family with you to help or you become homeless because you was barely taking care of yourself. All in all a good way to become practically broke and poor is to have a child which isn’t good for you nor the kid
When touching the subject of abortion, one must consider that there are two sides battling for control. That is right, abortion has literally turned into a war zone where even the unlikely of individuals do the unthinkable. Each side has their motives and methods for contradicting the other. For instance, there are cases and events that support both sides of this issue.
Is it right to abort a child? What if the victim was raped? Abortion can cause harm to a woman’s life and sometimes death. The moment a woman decides to abort a child is the day she takes the life of an innocent child. Does any human being deserve to have their life taken?
Abortion should be a given right to women in the United States. I believe that abortion should stay legal because laws against abortion hurt and even kill women, women who receive abortions are less likely to have mental health problems than women whose abortions have been denied, and a baby shouldn't come into this world unwanted. Firstly, legal professionally-performed abortions reduce injury and death caused by illegal abortions. According to Daniel R. Mishell, Jr., MD, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, before abortion was legalized, women would try to perform self-abortions by using coat hangers, knitting needles, or radiator flush, or by going to illegal
There is only one reason where abortion could be a good thing. In cases of rape and incest, abortion should be allowed. Being forced in to having sex with a stranger or even a relative should not force the women to carry a baby against her
Abortion is one of the most personal, widely discussed, and controversial topics in American culture today. In most cases, people on both sides of the argument take worthy and moral positions. Who can blame someone who wishes to prevent the termination of a teen pregnancy to save the life of an unborn child? On the other hand, who can blame anyone who advocates the soon-to-be mother's right to make such a personal, heartbreaking choice? No matter what she chooses to do, should anyone have the legal right to force her to bear an unwanted child? Most people in the US are pro-choice, and believe that abortion should be a legal, confidential decision that only a woman can make for herself. However, some are against the idea of
One reason abortion should remain legal is because of rape. Rape is the most targeted crime amongst women. Rape is defined as sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration against someone without their consent. National rape related pregnancy rate is at
Abortion is a serious topic that people have been debating about for years. Everywhere you turn the topic of abortion presents itself, on TV, in the newspapers, in books and magazines. It already has, and will continue to cause, controversy for years to come. As long as abortion remains legal, pro-life advocates will continue to protest what they believe to be these horrible acts of murder.
Many people base their opinion on if abortion is wrong is based off the opinion of when a person feels that life has begun. Many women who discover that they will be having a baby soon become really happy about the idea. Also, some who get abortions feel that pregnancy is nothing more than an inconvenience. Sometimes this inconvenience is sought to be an issue that can easily be resolved such as adoption or abortion methods. There are also times where conflicting issues create consideration about if the baby should be kept.
Abortion is a debatable question that has been argued over a long period of time. The controversy of abortion has caused or may cause deaths and several violent conflicts between, should abortion be legal or illegal. Abortion is one of the most common medical procedures performed worldwide also known as elective termination of pregnancy (History,2016). Abortion is the destruction of the fetus or unborn child while the child is still in the mother’s womb. This procedure can be done almost anyone from the mother herself to back alley, most common, abortion clinics. More than 40% of all women will end a pregnancy by abortion and remains common in the US. But the questions is should abortion be legal or illegal?
Of all the legal, ethical, and moral issues we Americans continuously fight for or against, abortion may very well be the issue that Americans are most passionate about. The abortion issue is in the forefront of political races. Most recently the “no taxpayer funding for abortion act”, has abortion advocates reeling. Even though abortion has been legal in every state in the United States since the monumental Supreme Court decision, “Roe v Wade”, on January 22, 1973; there are fewer physicians willing to perform abortions today than in 2008. (Kraft) At the heart of the ethical dilemma for many in the medical profession is the viability of the fetus. And just to make this whole dilemma more confusing, according to the United States
One of the worst mistakes in American history occurred in the year 1973. According to Opposing Viewpoints, “An abortion is a medical or surgical procedure that ends a pregnancy” and it was made legal in 1973 (“Abortion”, 2014, para. 1). I grew up always wanting a large family. Some of the best memories of my childhood were ones made during family reunions with my cousins. When I found out that there are people in the world that willingly murder their children before they are even born, I knew that it was something I had to change. I urge you to join me in the realization that abortion should be illegal since it is a form of murder society has accepted that has cost an immeasurable amount lives. Abortion is a horrible practice because it causes moral and ethical dilemmas for all involved, it negatively affects both the child and mother, and there is a multitude of alternate routes available.
When the word abortion is heard, it is always associated with many negative things such as murder and inhumanity. However not legalizing abortion creates a huge problem for women around the world. Having a child takes consideration, planning and preparation and if pregnancy happens without any of this, why bother to have it at all? The reasons why abortion should be legal is that it supports the fundamental human rights for women by giving them a choice, it reduces crime by reducing the number of children growing up non-optimal conditions, and supports my opinion that abortion is not murder.
Throughout the United States, abortion is legal and illegal, because it is such a controversial topic. America would be better of if abortions were legal nationally and government funded.
Abortion is an issue that is increasingly becoming more widely accepted, approved and even encouraged. This is an issue that must be addressed by the Christian church in America and across the global. Not only does abortion kill millions of unborn children each year, it also speaks to the heart problems of selfishness, conceit, and hopelessness that characterize so many people in the church, country and world. This is a problem that cannot be ignored. It is wrong on many levels and it is the duty of Christians to stand up and speak up for those who have no voice and mothers who feel that they have no hope.
This is a difficult question because the topic of abortion has a lot of people involved for different reasons. E.g. doctors dealing with the medical issues, MP’s is dealing with the legal issues etc. People have different views on this subject and so it depends who you are asking. People who have had an abortion think that it was the best thing to do because of their individual situations and experiences and would disagree. However others would agree, because of their religious beliefs or opinions on when life begins.
