An ethical dilemma is defined as a moral issue, where a situation has two equivalent undesirable alternatives and neither choice will resolve the ethical predicament.
Moral Dilemma to me, means having to make an ethical decision between what is considered right and what is considered wrong.
What is a moral dilemma? A moral dilemma is a man versus self conflict. It is when a character has to perform two different actions, but they can not perform both actions because it is not possible. Authors use moral dilemmas in their writings to retain the reader’s interest in the book or play and to have the reader ask questions. People often face many life altering choices such as right versus wrong or good versus bad. In The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, John Proctor chooses to die because he does not want to blacken his name throughout Salem and to ruin his sons’ names when they grow up.
Luke is an employee of ABC Company. He has been assigned to a construction of an adult entertainment retail store within a neighborhood his brother, Owen, lives in. The development of the retail store has not been made public yet and will be announced one month from today. This announcement will decrease the property values of the surrounding areas significantly. Owen is trying to sell his house. He told Luke that he recently received an ‘okay’ offer. However, in hopes that a better offer might be present itself in a few years after the real estate market improve, he has not taken the offer yet. Luke is very close to his brother, which makes him concerned about his confidentiality obligation to ABC Company.

Remember the Titans is a film produced in 2000 about two high schools, one white and one black school, which are combined and integrated. The movie is shown through the eyes and ways of the high school football team where the teams is forced to integrate and they learn to depend on each other.
