We get in the park and the first thing we did was head straight for the water park. The sweat was dripping down my face as I ran into the wave pool, because of course it was 104 degrees out that day. We spent 4 hours getting soaked by the water and the splashing buckets, soon after we went to the rides.
The next day was our last day in Daytona, it was kind of short but we were going somewhere better. As the day was getting started though we were all going to eat breakfast. After breakfast we got dressed and went to the pool we just hung out there for a few hours and then went to the ocean. It soon became lunch so my mom made sandwiches. We ate them and didn't want to go swimming anymore. So we all went got in the car and drove around to see what everything there is like. We stayed out for the rest of the day went to a restaurant ate dinner and came back to the hotel and went to
After driving for about a couple hours we stopped at a rest stop for the
When we were leaving to Maryland, I was sad to leave my dog but we had no choice. Our trip to Maryland was about 12 hours long but we took about 14 or 15 hours. We left at 3 in the afternoon, and we did get lost a few times but we had a GPs. We passed by Ohio and it was so long. We also passed by Columbus and it was beautiful. We passed by a lot of cities. When we were in West Virginia my dad almost ran over a drunk man and he even looked to see if there were any cars but he just walked! The ride was so long but my brother and I couldn't sleep, all 4 of us pulled an all nighter.
We left after my parents got off work one night. Our camper was all packed and we were ready to set off on our journey to New Mexico. Before we got to New Mexico we had to make a stop at my dad's cousin's hose to get the jet ski and then we were on our way to Ute Lake. We finally got there late that night.
Early that morning we woke up, got ready, and started our adventure. The long, boring drive was over 2 hours, but the fun finally started when we arrived. With the weather being a slight drizzle all day there were not that many people there. We got on the rides with almost no wait time. The very first roller coaster that we were going to go on broke down as we were waiting in line. Being impatient as I am, we got out of line, but of course as soon as we did the ride was fixed.
We were in the line for about 30 minutes, then when we got to the front of the line it started raining so they had to close the ride. Everybody left so we were the only people there. The ground was really slippery. Then it stopped raining and we rode some rides. My stomach wasn’t feeling good so I ate a deep-fried twinkie. Deep fried twinkies are super delicious!!! On the was home I puked on the side of the road three times then I felt better. That day was one of the best days of summer except for the ride home.
When we got to the campsite we filled the tank up with water. When the tank was full we hurried to get everything back into the RV. Once we got to the site I stuffed the hose back into the place it goes into and closed and went back into the RV. When I came back out side I helped dad put up the tent and during that I got a bloody noise so I had to go into the RV. After an about an hour we finally got the tent up and then me and dad took the bikes down from the bike rack. After taking the bikes off the back I took my rip stick around the loop, which took awhile. After riding my rip stick we took a walk on the beach and played in the water a little after playing in the water we rinsed off and then took a shower. And came back and ate dinner. Then we made delicious s'mores and then ate them. After we finished making s'mores we got ready for bed and
We all woke up that morning early so we could get all packed and ready to go. We had to take two separate cars because of how many people we had to take. The car ride was eccentric and ready to jump out of the car and into the lake at any moment. Finally both of the cars made it to the destination, my parents and my friends parents both rented all of the things we could use for today. Throughout the whole day we used the water bikes, kayaks and paddleboards for how
We finally got inside Turner Falls, I was exhausted. I needed something to wake me up, therefore, Mari and I decided to go swimming. We were going to wait for the bus to take us down the big hill, but it was taking too long. We ended up walking
Story telling is a uniquely human attribute. It is an imaginative process between the composer and responder that invites us, as the audience to engage vicariously with the experience of others. Stories or narratives have been shared in all culture as a mean of education, entertainment and also to notify the audience of the values and belief systems of our culture. The texts of ‘Through the tunnel’ and ‘Green tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe’ conspicuously highlight the ability of storytelling to empower the individual and outline storytelling as a device to inform us of values and people’s transmission is able to transcend time.
We got to the house by 10 o’clock at night. We had to unpack and get all of our stuff in the house. By the time we were done it was like 11 o’clock at night. But what i didn't see was the hot tub. It was out on the deck. I got that baby bubbling and got right in. But I had to
When we got on the plane I watched a movie and ate some gummys and soon went to sleep because I was tired. Soon when I woke up and went out side
First, we had to fly to Detroit, Michigan after leaving Escanaba, Michigan, and the ride to Detroit was about 45 minutes. When we got to Detroit we all went to the bathroom because we were on that airplane for a long time. My mom and grandma wanted to show us the underground light tunnel. The tunnel was spectacular and it played some type of alien music. In the tunnel was some escalators on the right and left side so we didn’t need to walk through the whole thing. If we had to walk it would have taken quite a while because the light tunnel was pretty
The drive to the lake was about an hour, but it felt much longer because the whole ride I could barely sit still with excitement. However, when we got to the lake, my excitement turned into disappointment when
