According to the constitution, i think that the legislative branch has the most power because they’re the ones who control the laws for our country , control actions made by the president, and they are in charge of the states. The legislative branch controls laws for the country. The legislative branch makes the laws for the country. (Article 1, section 7). The legislative branch is in charge of creating laws for the u.s.This shows that the legislative branch has the right of making laws for our country. And they have the power to create new laws when needed.Another example of a power is, “The House and Senate both need to vote to pass a law(Article 1, section 7).”The house of representatives and the senate make a vote to see if they’re laws can get passed. This shows us that the legislative branch also has the authority to pass laws become laws and to prevent laws from becoming laws. …show more content…

An example of this in the text is ,”if the President vetoes the law, then the House and Senate can vote again on it. If 2/3rds of both approve, it can become a law anyway.”The house of representatives and the senate make a vote to see if they’re laws can get passed. This shows us that the congress can stop a veto made by the president. This is a power they have over the president. Another example of this in the text is,”The President appoints the heads of all the departments, appoints ambassadors, appoints Federal judges and appoints Supreme Court Justices. The Senate must confirm all nominations.” The president can choose the leaders of all departments, ambassadors, federal judges and supreme court judges. And the senate has to approve his choices. This shows that though the president appoints these people, the senate has to confirm these selections, which is another power they have over the president, (another reason why they have the most
