In general, I think the worst part of this year’s Executive Board was that they were disjointed. Their extremely different personalities, work ethic, and enthusiasm regarding congress led to many issues throughout the year. It often seemed like there was a lack of communication and when they did converse, some board members would bicker and start conflict. Board members could also be very unprofessional at foreign congresses, going as far as to sing, and encourage others to sing, a song mentioning their dislike of certain delegations (not a board cheer). This sets a negative example for underclassmen and is extremely reckless. Executive Board Members this year also encouraged the spread of negative stereotypes regarding Long Beach to other …show more content…
We both went to Lido elementary, we both excel in mathematics, are both artistic, have similar taste in music, and both went through awful anime phases in middle school. In terms of astrology, we both attract Libra’s in our lives, and while Sagittarius (Ali’s sign) is an air element and Taurus (My sign) is an earth element, my moon and rising signs are both in Libra, an air element. In all seriousness, Ali and I both share a passion for this club and I think we both truly value the role this club has in our lives and the lives of others.
M.) Who is a foreign delegate that you greatly admire and why?
A foreign delegate that I greatly admire is Renee Korgood, from Tri-D Bellmore. Renee is someone who loved every second of her time in Model Congress, good or bad. I deeply admire her dedication to this club and the enthusiasm she displayed through all its aspects. It is her dedication and perseverance that allowed Bellmore to join Tri-D. A brilliant and articulate speaker, Renee always brought interesting and thought-provoking points to debate and I’m happy I was able to hear them.
N.) If you could be part of any other delegation in UMC, what delegation would it be and

While rowdy at times, I deeply admire their enthusiasm and determination. Lawrence is a truly unified delegation and their camaraderie is evident at all times. Not only do they possess many great speakers, but all of their delegates have distinct personalities and energies. They function very well and when determined, perform
b. What medium would you use to reach each of these parties and what would your relative resource allocation be to each?
5. What, if anything, could the foremen have done differently to help the group's conflict management and decision-making process?
Our recruitment chair is helping others envision our chapter with new women that are smart, want to be active and engaged, and that are fun people. By realigning the women we want to represent our chapter, we have been able to get our members to be more optimistic towards next fall. We are also having more workshops and retreats that discuss what we, as a chapter need to improve and how we can get there. Those conversations have been so helpful in encouraging everyone and in showing them that the executive board does not make all of the decisions. We need their help because technically we serve their best interests.
However, the process was unstructured: there were no annual terms for the board members and no formal election process. Bob and Rex should have put in contractual agreements with the board members, which defined their roles and responsibilities on the board. Additionally, they should have put in performance based incentive plans for the board members to further incentivize them. Furthermore, a formal selection plan should have been drafted to select the board in future: how many members, their expertise, tenure, etc. This plan would have been very useful if someone on the board decided to leave or if they would have wanted to add a new
I thought the meeting was professionally conducted. The meeting respected the schedules of the participants, followed the agenda, and ended the meeting on time. Everyone at the meeting spoke in a professional manner and using appropriate language, and all had the respect for each other. When one speaks, everyone listens attentively.
The final committee I would serve, would have to be the Economic and Small Business Development Committee as they aim to benefit the small business owners within my district. Small business owners are often overshadowed and blown out of the completive market by large corporate
The reason there should be a new set of board members is, throughout the film they really didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. If you have a important job that can affect a lot of people you should at least be capable of doing that job right. One example was when one of the board members just voted on a change to the book because she didn't know what it was. They also pick and choose what they want the students to
Giles Corey and I have very similar personality traits in that we are loyal, instigate, and unbreakable,
I feel that everything was discussed in a rush that it really did not give the commissioner’s time to really think the issues that were discussed through. The commissioner meetings have an agenda that must be followed and lets them be aware of all the subjects that need to be discussed. I know this meeting was being rushed because there was one time that they even accidently skipped one subject and had to go back to it. I was told that usually commissioner meetings are usually two hours long and this meeting was only one hour and eighteen minutes long. I must also say that not everyone in the council think alike. I felt that some agreed and some disagreed by the comments and suggestions they would give to certain issues.
The Delegate Chairs must print the foreign congress forms and hand them to all LBMC delegates who wish to attend. They must answer all inquiries about foreign congress forms.
Every 3 years, the Board of Directors plans a series of special meetings to review where we have focused our time and money over the recent past and determine a direction for the next 3 years. In the fall of 2015, we worked with a team of specialists from the Executive Service Corps who surveyed some in our community with targeted questions to get a better sense of our successes and challenges. They analyzed these results and provided us with some unbiased feedback.
Members Characteristics – Overall, Hausman did a good job on assembling his board of directors. When determining who will make a good board member there are several things to look for. First a good board has an expert in legal matters, accounting, marketing, human resources, and finance. The only expert missing from RO’s board is a human resources expert. Next it is important to ensure that all board members will be able to regularly attend meetings. While most board members were local, several were not, and it was an area RO could improve. Also for outside members of the board, it is important to have knowledge of the industry and/or target market. With the appointment of the EVP of a large health snack company, Hausman made a good appointment (although location is an issue), but the knowledge that the CEO of the tech company may bring to the table may not be valuable. Finally, it is important to have complimentary personality traits. Overall, the RO’s board of directors is a strong, valuable board.
Love horoscope of these two is terribly harmonious and extremely useful to at least one another.
Nature of Relationship: The general astrological results suggest that same zodiac signs are fairly compatible. The happening equations shared between Libra man and Libra woman further consolidate this fact. Slight problems may arise when both of them refuse to go to the depth of emotions.
Going further with the agenda, the way the meeting worked so smoothly was due because each member of the meeting had a task. For instance, Lt. Brent Abbott oversaw the city staff committee liaison, which from the looks of it he was part of finalizing any changes in the committee. Then they had Esther Mirador to keep track of time and
