My four learning objectives are configuring a Cisco wireless router, learning about SQL injection and how to use Passware and Encase. Currently I am meeting those objectives during my spare time that I have during my internship. My supervisor has given me all the equipment required to successfully complete these projects to help solidify everything I had learned during my time at LaGuardia Community College. As of now, I am gaining more experience on both the workplace and in class. I am taking a Network Security course Tuesday and Thursday evening, which is taught by my supervisor. I get to learn all the commands that are required to activate certain features. These features can range anything from permitting internet access to denying certain

After my review of Section 2, I believe the overarching learning objectives of Section 2 is to help the reader understand the following: (1) is that before a case is heard in court “jurisdiction” must happen which means that the court must have “the power to speak the law” over a person or property involved as to meeting minimum requirements; (2) as the minimum requirements that must be meet for a court to have “jurisdiction” as to where dispute or where the people or business is located as in the state or out of state of them having any relation or connection; (3) “jurisdiction” by the courts can be limited by whether or not the case that is being brought upon involves cases only that state courts can solve such as a “probate court” that deals with a person’s assets or the cases that involves “federal question” or “diversity of citizenship “that the federal courts that can only solve such as “bankruptcy”; (4) the “jurisdiction” of courts on the internet of websites domestically and internationally has been difficult to figure out as to some things have been done to resolve this such as “the sliding-scale standard” and by “minimum contacts.”
The sixth Student Learning Objective teaches one about the significance of professional and ethical responsibility. Professionalism and ethical behavior at the workplace helps one to develop effective work habits. Kritika used to work in a hospital as administrative assistant and was held responsible for maintaining the record of the patients. While working as an administrative assistant in a hospital, Kritika faced an ethical dilemma when Kritika was asked by one of the senior colleagues to disclose a patient’s information to a third party. The colleague was also one of Kritika’s good friend, who kept on asking for the patient’s detail and offered Kritika a promotion in exchange. Even though Kritika could have accepted the promotion offer
There are seven behaviors that promote learning. They are grit, curiosity, self-control, social intelligence, zest, optimism and gratitude. All seven of these behaviors are great for in school. But the behavior I consider most for my learning is grit.

After taking the class Personal Dimensions of education, I’ve come to understand, there is not one set way to learn. Learning is the act of processing then applying information that we absorb from our surroundings. This means we are in a constant state of learning with everything we do. This class introduced me to the concept of the four learning patterns and how we use them. The Learning Connection Inventory Survey assessed our leaning tendencies how we use each pattern. Sequence responsible for order, planning and organization, Precision responsible for accuracy, detail, and information; Technical Reasoning responsible for problem solving, relevance and autonomy; and Confluence responsible for ideas uniqueness, and risk taking. We use these patterns to different degrees and or combinations. Each pattern is give a value three ranges of use; use first (25-35) as needed (18-24) an avoid (7-17). With purposeful effort we can tailor the way we use a particular pattern. In week one I defined learning as “when information is stored in your brain as fact vice suggestion.” I believe now that the brain storing information is just the inevitable end to the learning process.
My two main objectives for this course are passing and most importantly learning. Attitude can make a big difference on learning. The better the attitude the easier it is to pick up a concept while reading. My goal is to manage learning even if it seems challengeable, and if I don't understand something, I won't hesitate to bring it up in a discussion. To conquer the fear of learning, and try to bypass all learning distractions. I want to understand everything that is going on in each course. Putting on a thinking hat while doing an assignment to better help me understand will be a natural thing. Problem solving is another trait I plan to learn while going to school. While working with groups, I'm sure there will be a few issues that will have
What percentage of the whole class or group met the learning target/objective. Cite the specific example and/or evidence. What criteria did you use to evaluate learning? What percentage did not meet the learning target? I believe 100% of the class met the learning objective and recognized how slavery came to be a part of America’s history and constructed a poem about what daily life was like for a slave. Every students’ poem included two details from the text about the life of a slave. I formally assessed students by asking inquiry-based questions about how economic, geographic, and social factors influenced the establishment and separation of the Carolina colonies into North and South Carolina. We completed the Venn diagram as a class

A few definitions are necessary to understand while learning the complex structure of emotional intelligence and empathy. Emotional Intelligence as defined by Peter Salovey and John Mayer “is the ability to perceive emotions, to access and generate emotions so as to assist thought, to understand emotions and emotional knowledge, and to reflectively regulate emotions so as to promote emotional and intellectual growth” (Goleman). There are five components of emotional intelligence, as stated by Goleman: self-awareness, self-regulation, internal motivation, empathy, and social skills. Self- awareness is being able to identify and define the emotions one feels. Self-regulation is one’s ability to control emotional impulses and to think prior
This essay will compare and contrast three key theories of learning; Behaviourism, Cognitive Learning Theory and Constructivism.
Since the history of the universe was searched, the inception of innovation about learning theory was seen as a practice, psychology and science was found in the literature of scholars across the world. The Germany scholar named Lay (1903) studied the relationship between psychology and the practice of teaching subjects in Language Arts and Literacy and math (Lay, 1903. P.1).
Theories of learning play a role in choices instructors make concerning their teaching. According to Aliakbari, Parvin, Heidari, & Haghani (2015), learning theories are the core of educational systems in nursing, which help provide an environment for learning. Truly, it may be difficult for teachers to identify each student level of cognitive development and social influences, which affect learning. There are many variables that influence and contribute to students learning. Teachers must serve as facilitators and mentors. Also, teachers should motivate, model good behavior, and set clear boundaries by understanding students’ perspectives.
