The story i’m going to be writing about is, why are the israel’s are torturing the palatines indians. Not only torturing the palatines indians also, torturing the children. Also, why are the children and the adults are not getting to work and to school? More than 995 childrens were dead by the israelis. Everyday the children have to go through the israelis. Everyday the childrens/adults thinking that are going to get killed or not. The reason why they feel this way because, they have weapons, tanks, and bombs. Its sad because the older kids who is in college professors don't care if they’re missing class and almost all of the students who can’t make it through the israelis is failing the class. The israelis is doing bombs weapons and
According to the Human Rights Watch during July 23 and 24, 2014 in Khuza’a, a border town between the Gaza Strip and Israel, Israeli soldiers were shooting and killing innocent families while trying to force them out of their homes. At first the Israeli military gave warnings to the civilians warning them to flee their homes however most did not listen. Many had nowhere to go and stayed only in fear. Afterwards they used force shooting, and shelling the Palestinians. Killing children and families who only want to live better lives is unacceptable by all international standards. Israel’s excessive force should not be tolerated before any more lives are lost. To add on, Israel has been purposefully denying Palestinians access to basic human resources such as food and clean water. A United Nations report states that In 2010 six ships led by the Turkish Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief were sailing to the Gaza Strip. They were attempting to bring aid in clean water, food, medical supplies and building supplies to the Palestinian people. However in May Israeli special forces boarded the ships killing 10 activists and detaining several hundred. They took control over the boats and sailed them to Israeli ports. This is purely an act evil against people who just wanted to help. There is no reason for a country to deny humanitarian aid to
Israel has used tactics to defend itself, and to get the international “right to exist”. Israel has used security tactics to feel safe, but these tactics are endangering the civil and human rights of the citizens of Israel. “...No country has a recognized God-given or otherwise right to exist, only responsibilities under international law and moral responsibilities…”
Chapter three of Eyal Press’ Beautiful Souls follows Avner Wishnitzer, an Israeli combat soldier serving in the occupied territories during the Second Intifada. In the 6-Day War of 1967, Israel captured the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and has since kept the land under an Israeli military occupation. In 1987 to 1991, a Palestinian uprising involving resistance and civil disobedience, known as the First Intifada, occurred in the occupied territories. Consequently, Israel deployed many soldiers into the occupied territories, and an estimated 1,674 people were killed in total. The Second Intifada, a much more violent Palestinian uprising in the occupied territories, transpired from 2000 until 2005. In response, Israel enacted Operation Defensive Shield, a large-scale military operation, in 2002 to stop the terrorist attacks and suicide bombings of the Second Intifada. An approximate 4,426 people were killed in the Second Intifada. Avner Wishnitzer’s public refusal to serve in the occupied territories was worth getting kicked out of Sayeret Matkal and being disgraced by Israeli society because it made people question the occupation and the treatment towards Palestinians. Even if Avner had been my father, I would have condoned his choices because I could create my own reputation in the military. Additionally, the current controversy over the Israeli occupation legitimizes his stance and actions for many Israeli citizens.
In addition, I will examine the current state of political and human rights in Israeli occupied West Bank and analyze how they are approaching a level of apartheid. Finally, I will summarize the effects of these social tensions between Israel and Palestinians in the terms of how potential open conflict could reignite.
For those reason the children of the Holocaust is far more extreme than the civil war in Syria. We should all be thankful that we have not and hopefully will not have to go through what the Jews and and many others
A series of stabbings has made the people of Israel restless and afraid. A statistic in the last paragraph of Ori Lewis’s report, “West Bank tensions rise after Palestinian stabbings in Israeli settlements,” stated that 25 people and a U.S. citizen have been killed. Over 148 Palestinians have been killed as well, a majority of them being victims of violent demonstrations (Lewis, 2016.)
Most people could never imagine killing millions of people due to hatred of their beliefs, but as we know it has occurred throughout the history of our world. In April of 1933 the beginning of a tragic incident known as the Holocaust broke out. It was now either life or death for all Jew’s in Germany. Families were torn apart, lives were taken, homes were destroyed, and now they would be controlled by one single man with a group of Nazi soldiers. Hitler was the one who lead this action due to believing that their race was subordinate and thinking that they were an alien threat to German racial purity. With his soldiers by his side, they took the lives of many Jew’s and tried changing everything about them. Many of these people suffered in ghettos and concentration camps. They lived their lives not knowing if they would be here the next day. THESIS:
Anti-Semitism continues around the world today. In the recent Persian Gulf War, Saddam Hussein bombed Israel in several areas even though Israel was not involved in any part of the war. Just a few days ago, on October 26, six Israeli soldiers were killed instantly when a bomb in their jeep, planted by Iranian terrorists, exploded.
Children in the country of Syria are being faced to think as adults would, and maturing to fast and losing the fun of being a child. these children were originally either caught in or fighting in the in the Syrian Civil War. now due to ISIS they are being executed for refusing to follow shari'ah law.
Child soldiers can run away and make their own decisions and they have anywhere to go. To be fair, it is hard for them to run away from their leader. Especially when they’re are given shelter and food. Some say that the children have experienced so much death, they’ve lost empathy. And yet people like Ishmael escape and make it out alive. They get to share their experiences and things they have witness. Most children and teens from the ages 7-16 know what they’re doing is wrong. If we get mad at our own kids for stealing a candy bar from the store, then how would you feel if your kid went and shot up a school. They deserve the help but they also need punishment too.
Palestinian terrorist leaders often use teenagers to commit acts of terror because they know the Israeli legal system treats children more leniently than adults. Now 10 Democrats belonging to the Congressional Progressive Caucus are trying to give terrorist leaders yet another reason for using young people to murder even more innocent civilians. Rep. Betty McCollum, D-Minn., introduced legislation Nov. 14 – co-sponsored by nine other Democrats – calling on the State Department to “prevent United States tax dollars from supporting the Israeli military’s ongoing detention and mistreatment of Palestinian children.” Rep. Betty McCollum, D-Minn., introduced legislation Nov. 14 – co-sponsored by nine other Democrats – calling on the State
One form of trauma Palestinian children faced during the Gaza War in 2008 was psychological maltreat from their parents. Both parents are dealing with their trauma of the war and are taking it out on their child in different ways. Fathers tend to be physically and mentally abusive to their child whereas mothers tend to neglect their child. According to Palosaari’s article, the children go through “emotional abuse [and] emotional neglect” (958). The way Palestinian parents are raising their children has been greatly affected since the war. Fathers tend to pay more attention to their child and focus on disciplining him more when he does not do what’s expected of him. Mothers tend to neglect their child because they do not want to cause any conflict
Have you ever thought about why Palestinians kill Israelites in cold blood? The media puts stories out to the public saying that Palestinians are committing acts of terrorism and have no reason to do so. That is only one side of the story, not enough people look at the palestinian side of things and why they were doing the things they are doing to Israelites. Israel has done so many terrible things to the Palestinians for years. Israel ended up building a giant wall around Palestine and put many checkpoints down saying that it was to keep the Palestinians out of Israel, but in reality, the wall and checkpoints were used to control the Palestinians.
"Israel and its army arrived in our village, and then destroyed the houses of the four families. Since the night until the early morning, Israel tore down and destroyed four houses belonging to us. The grounds
Imagine a world where you were shot, your parents were arrested, and your home was spied on. This is the everyday life of Palestinian girl Ahed Tamimi. According to her father, she and her brother have been shot, her mother has been arrested five times, and he has been arrested nine times. Their house is under a demolition order. All of this due to one thing: Israeli oppression of Palestinian citizens. In reaction for Ahed’s family being maltreated, in December, she slapped a soldier- which was live streamed on Facebook by her mother. She bruised the soldier’s brow, and caused no further harm. She was swiftly arrested by the Israeli government and left with 12 charges. After
