The beginning of the movie shows how Slim met her husband Mitch. Mitch met Slim at a dinner where she was a waitress. Mitch made a bet with one of his friends that he could have a sexual encounter with Slim by the same afternoon that he met her. He successfully completed his bet, and continued dating Slim. There were two different family structures portrayed in Juno, the first was Juno's family which included her dad, step-mom, and little sister. She also briefly mentions her mother who moved away and occasionally sends her gifts, but seems to have no other influence in her life. Firstly, I would like to say that overall the film by all standards was not at all bad. When one thinks of a foreign film you might think of a really bad, poorly edited, or low funded film. With the major reason for it being foreign, the obvious reason being that it was not made in Hollywood. However, this movie takes all of the preconceptions about foreign films and turns it upside down. With a budget of nearly 5 million dollars (Instructions), and only being filmed in two locations in Mexico the movies overall quality is actually quite astounding. Furthermore, I would like to commend the directors and editors on doing Hollywood level job, creating and making the final product as it is better then something you might see in a low budget jaws knock off made here in the United States.

The film is very intriguing and keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat throughout from start to finish as you follow Chris Washington, a young african american man, who travels with his white girlfriend to her family’s house when he uncovers a dark secret. For the typical fan of horror/thriller, it's a must see.
