Finding True Love In A Midsummer Night's Dream

Based on Shakespeare's plays A Midsummer Night’s Dream and others, I have concluded that he is a hopeless romantic and believes in true love in all of his stories. For example, in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the fairy king, Oberon, uses the love potion to help Helena get her true love to like her. He says to his helper, Puck(Act 2, Scene 2, Line 268,) “A sweet Athenian lady is in love with a disdainful youth. Anoint his eyes.” This means that he has seen how Helena loves Demetrius and therefore wants to help her by letting Puck give him the love potion. This shows that Shakespeare is a romantic because he is helping his characters find true love especially when one is being held from their true love because of another girl. Another reason that
