Chief, I received notice that FF/PM Kurland was being moved to a different station. I have been working hard as your FTO trying to prepare FF/PM Kurland as a stand alone medic for VCFR. The process has not gone as fast as we all would like, mainly, due to PM Kurland's limited past experience and the birth of his new baby ( FMLA ). However, we are starting to make great progress and I believe he needs a few more shifts to continue that progress, so we can move on to the next phase. I have put a lot of passion in trying to make sure he is a quality paramedic for VCFR and I believe it is in, his and the department's best interest, for PM Kurland to remain at station 14 for a few more shifts. Is there anyway we can hold off on this assignment
