Considering the focus students both made progress, I do believe the differentiation plan was effective. Focus Student 2 made progress and met the learning goal. She increased her score by 20% completing the assessment with 80% accuracy. Teaching the student an additional strategy to confirm the correct response forced her to slow down to complete each problem. Focus Student 1 also made progress and met the learning goal with the differentiation plan in place. She increased her score by 20%. Completing the assessment on a white board reduced anxiety in the student. While the data did not necessarily show an incredible increase in accuracy, the student visibly looked more relaxed completing the assessment. Given the baseline assessment, I could
First Year Seminar is a beneficial, getting started-like course provided by West Coast University during the first term of the program. Since the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is very rigorous this course is helpful in adjusting new students, such as myself, to a very demanding, fast-pace program. This class focuses on topics that help students organize and understand oneself and the mission of WCU mission to achieve the greatest success as a student. In my Signature Assignment term paper I will focus on my experience with FYS and what information I’ve gained to help me understand my learning style, strengths and weaknesses I have as a student, how working collaboratively benefits me and how I will go about achieving success at WCU.
After attending an information session, doing my own research, and talking to a friend who attended a similar program at Western U, I knew I should apply to the Western U College of Graduate Nursing program. Because of preview day, I could really feel how much care and compassion the faculty was in showing us the numerous resources offered, the knowledgeable and skilled professors, and their care to produce the best nurses to patients and healthcare. WesternU is the perfect school for me because they understand student’s struggles. They take into consideration that not all students are the same and they had different current student speakers to give us details on their journey to and in the program. The students all came from different cultural and
Hi class, I hope you enjoyed this days at elementary. Back to reality you have to do...
This past fall semester has been incredibly eye opening to the various different ways the topic of genetics can be applied to the medical field, specifically the field of nursing. Through class lecture, discussions, and activities I have learned that the field of genetics is already growing tremendously, and I predict that it will continue to do so as technology progresses. Hopefully, this will allow future patients to have care that is able to be directly tailored to them in order to provide more personalized and adequate treatment.
After the gathering of data for this paper, I initiated with my writing work for this paper. First of all, I prepared the rough draft and outline with the plan to cover every area in the paper. I get this draft and plan approved by my teacher and gained further recommendations from him. I dedicated a specific time for researching, writing, editing, and proofreading of every area before submitting to my teacher to check and highlight any error or need for improvement. This enabled me to gain more guidelines from my teacher regarding my paper to complete it with efficiency and on time. These guidelines further polished my researching, writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Furthermore, the guidelines I gained from my teacher during the completion
People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) are often misunderstood and discriminated by society at large and many health professionals. Furthermore, Spanish speakers face additional barriers. Due to such marginalization, dental services, while essential, can be neglected. This can result in tooth loss, infection, or other ailments that can rapidly deteriorate the health of persons with compromised immune systems. With the creation of a robust and culturally competent assessment tool that evaluates the needs of dental clients, a reversal of this trend can occur and ensure that necessary dental care becomes the new standard.
The Spring semester 591E- Research and Professional Applications is an internship course. This is an optional course to meet the requirements for the Master of Management of Library and Information Science (MMLIS) program. However, to participate in the course, I had to secure an internship site location within the first four weeks of the course and complete a minimum of 80 hours by the end of week twelve, March 28, 2017. With no previous experience working in a library, I felt that the internship course was a great opportunity to apply course knowledge to work application.
I found FocusFirst to be effective on the end of Impact Alabama, but not always very efficient on the end of the daycare. I think the idea is incredibly beneficial for low-income families, as eyesore is not on the forefront of their minds and is still an important aspect to remember. One of my visits to a daycare, we discovered a child with lazy eye. This child may have had severe deficits in development later in life and possibly lose the eye if we had not caught the problem so early on. The daycare’s need to be more organized and prepared when volunteers come to do the screenings. One of the daycare’s had a roster and one did not. One day care brought the kids in organized and the other took a long time bringing a group into the session.
At NC State, we taught USC 104 which was for undeclared student0-athleted to address additional concerns about majors and careers. We hosted a major-round table event that brought in various professors/deans from all of the majors on campus. This event allowed students to learn about the expectations and prospects of the major. They were also assigned a final research project on a career they were interested in.
Proceeding, I set up an additional interview to find out about the current evaluation process that the program is currently using. I hope that the information will help me as I select the assessment tools that I will use. Some of the questions that I was thinking of asking were:

For this outcome, I chose Major Paper 2 to show that I have achieved developing a complex claim in my research topic. I tried to keep away from my bias in space tourism and used creditable evidence to back up my argument. It was an interesting assignment to pick what I am passionate about and actually knowing more about the issue comprehensively.
The class size of Washington State University is what first led me to inquire more about the program. Being from a small school with small class sizes I was delighted to find a veterinary program with the same aspect. The hands on experiences WSU offers right away because of the access to the hospital influenced me to apply. The best part in deciding to apply to WSU was the well roundedness of the program. I felt like in deciding to apply to Washington State University I was deciding to take a chance at enhancing many facets of my life.
Among the numerous School of Pharmacy outcomes, the one I have chosen to evaluate my progress is in Personal Management and Leadership.
According to the Syllabus, the objective for PE 160 Physical Fitness was to “learn about and benefit from the latest research on health and fitness, and to establish a consistent and effective exercise program for life long well-being.” Keeping the objective in mind, I chose a tangible personal goal as I began week one: “By the end of the quarter, I would like to increase my activity level, stamina and overall health and fitness. If I can eliminate the need for some of my medications I would be thrilled.”
