For this week’s business analysis technique I have chosen technique 68. This technique looks at developing different business scenarios in order to: determine clarity in a situation, valuation of techniques, identify areas of support, or a subsequent for user training. By reviewing the different scenarios you have the ability to fine tune your business model and position the company for a sustainable growth. For the past ten years I have relied on these different scenarios in order to test the effectiveness of marketing and training. By going into a retail environment and posing as a customer I get the opportunity to see how employees interact with customers and test their knowledge of the products. This would be considered concrete examples of success or failure. In Figure 1.0 – Scenario 1, I have provided a secret shop here in Overland Park. This conversation took place at the Academy. The reason for this scenarios is because I rolled out a brand new training program for all outdoor retailers in order to push product knowledge to the employee level. Secondly Academy pick up my action camera to compete with the industry leader. Currently GoPro is being marketed to the marine fishing segment and the Garmin is …show more content…
There are a couple ley indicators that make resolving these issues difficult. The first would be is that the market leader has created this market and benefits from many individuals not know in what an action camera is but rather it is known as a GoPro. Not matter how much I market to this customers it will be increasingly difficult to overtake that position. The second would be that there is a high percentage of turn over within retail establishments. Resulting in a much more difficult situation for training. The investment of training is lost once the employee leaves and the new person get

If elected, a C4U government would work to create accessible and affordable education for all Canadian citizens, to provide equal development opportunities. The bulk of this cost would be recovered by a new revenue stream coming from private businesses, refunding the educational costs of the students once hired. This would also eliminate students from coming out of education with massive debt. With companies generating high profit margins through this movement, the extra income gathered is entirely invested into advancing and growing the current educational system. The refunding mechanism will also subsidize the investment in improving online learning and remote education platforms. The government and students are hereby freed from

With agriculture being a major industry in the United States, it is concerning to see how few young farmers there are. This dilemma has occurred, since less people are now raised on farms, and consequently society lacks having agricultural knowledge. Additionally, modern machinery allows farmers to be able to effectively manage larger tracts of land. This results in modern agricultural practices not requiring the equivalent labor force necessary in the early 1900s. With less farmhands now required, society promotes young intellectuals to receive a college education and pursue only prestigious professions. While these positions are vital to society, agriculture still demands the best and brightest workers to creatively output the world’s food

An article titled Innovations Threaten the Neighborhood Bike Shop written by Jim Rendon was published by the New York Times on January 27, 2016. I remember reading this article in early February and when we covered the chapter on monopolistic competition, it came to my mind again. The article begins with the readers being introduced to Sean Sweeney, a cyclist that lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Mr. Sweeney expressed his hatred toward hauling his bikes to a local bike shop to be tuned up and repaired. It is a lot of work for a fifty-nine-year-old man to be doing and it is also an inconvenience.
