It's been said by Frank Herbert, Duke, that "Fear is a mind-killer". Fear is a unrestricted emotion. It can affect many of our daily decisions. I feel fear can be a big disadvantage for most people. For example, when we watch the news, often times we are misinformed. Social media sometimes sends messages that people should be afraid. Fear spreads faster than facts. What news reporters say first, is really what matters the most. And when you're scared you can't think logically. Also, in our early ancestry, fear was important for paving the way.
