Frair Lawrence is a kind and honest character who attempts to bring peace to the chaotic village of Verona. When Romeo informs Frair Lawrence of his wishes to marry Juliet, he reluctantly accepts due to the fact that it may end the families unnecessary feud. When Romeo gets exiled because of a duel with the Montagues, Frair keeps a level head and decides a plan to bring happiness to the couple. You also hold the most responsibility out of all the people. In Shakespeare’s story Friar Lawrence was the adult of the story but he still manage to mess up plans and do secret plans.

One of these characters is Friar Lawrence, a Franciscan monk who is an expert in plants and medicines. While the Friar does not appear in all parts of the play, he acts as an advisor to Romeo and Juliet and gets them married. Friar Lawrence was one of the most important characters in the novel.
