The Culper Ring was a spy ring created by American Major Benjamin Tallmadge under command from General George Washington in 1778 during British occupation of New York City at the peak of the American Revolutionary War. The "Culper" name was given by Washington who created it from Culpeper County, Virginia. If I could meet anyone I would want to meet George Washington. One reason why is because he fought in the French and Indian War. He was also a leader in the Revolutionary War. Here are some examples of why these facts show that I would want to meet him.

Would you consider someone who freed a country a hero? What if they also demonstrated great leadership skills? Or, if they improved the way a system worked for people? George Washington did. George Washington is a hero for sure. I say that because he freed America from oppressing British rule. When America needed a president, he accepted the job. And all throughout his presidency and leadership career, he demonstrated that he cares and that people can put their trust in him. George Washington is the best example of a hero you can find.

President Washington was seated at his desk in the oval office turned and looking out the window thinking about how quickly events were moving and how much control did he really have over them. He had his concerns about the military and if they really needed civilian leadership at this time or was he in the way? Or was he being paranoid? He had a sizeable military force heading his way from Pennsylvania which might be able to topple the current government. His own military was sizing up the situation, he really became aware of a change in the situation he saw several tanks moving down Pennsylvania Blvd towards the White House. Then took up positions around it, guarding it, was it to protect him or were they his jailer. President
