Bo Bennett once said, “A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward the achievement.” Generally speaking, everyone has dreams that they want to obtain someday, but those will never come true if they don’t do anything. For the most part, there is a variety of goals someone can have. Some people want to be celebrities, professional athletes, doctors, lawyers, and some people don’t know exactly what they want. I personally want a promising future. Most of my education has been developing for something better. For example, I went to preschool to be prepared for elementary school, which prepared me for middle school. In a few years I’ll go to high school which will prepare me for college. Everything I do in school leads up to one thing. That one thing for me is getting a scholarship to William and Mary. Achieving that goal is something I have aspired for, would make things easier for my family and I, and would make my future more clear.

Setting smaller goals towards your big goals helps. In my case, my first goals would be graduating high school and getting accepted into college.
