I need to agree that group work helps students in the long run, even though I despise it. Group work is here to stay. It helps students develop key social skills, teaches them some of the main points of teamwork, and projects tend to be a beefier part of the student's grade and help from other students may boost that grade.

Effective group communications come in forms of verbal and non-verbal techniques. Essential parts of the entire group’s contribution are that the group contains full participating members, the group is diverse, and that the diversity is recognized and respected (Hartley, 1997).
