HAARP.
Ever heard of it? Probably not, unless you just happen to live in Alaska. HAARP stands for the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, which is an ionosphere research program that was funded by a combination of the U.S. Air Force, the University of Alaska, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the U.S. Navy. This information comes from their own website.
Hold on... They are funded by DARPA? That’s weird. What’s a defense agency funding an ionosphere research program? Are they considering HAARP a weapon? Hmm…
According to HAARP, their sole purpose is to “analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionosphere enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance." Used in the facility are a combination of tools such as an IRI

The VHF/UHF is used as return feedback from the excited atoms in the ionosphere. The digisonde is used to target objects on a double three dimensional plane. As for the magnetometers, they measure magnetization in the ionosphere to indicate polarity and charge amount.
The problem we have here is that we have a weapon that has been used for environmental warfare. True, the main purpose the contractors had in mind was to detect anomalies in the ionosphere by bursting it with energy, but if you just think back to science class, when you excite atoms, they collide and after some duration of time, cause lots of heat. Of course, this is limited, but let’s say you want to play dangerous. Paired with doping agents like arsenic and boron (which happen to cause Alzheimer’s disease) in the atmosphere, you can turn the sky into a giant capacitor or circuit.
Have you ever seen a condensation trail from a plane (mainly jet) that persists in the sky? Unless you are extremely high in the atmosphere, that is not normal. They are actually chemical trails from dumping chemicals across the
Throughout my high school career at Wahconah Regional High School, I have done, and continue to keep doing many activities in order to help my community. In addition I have made various accomplishments in many different areas. I should be inducted into the National Honor Society because of how my accomplishments and community activities prove how I fit into the four pillars, service, leadership, character and scholarship.
Despite that, 3D Graphics and Virtual reality are very important to NASA to visualize space environments otherwise they would be sending Astronauts blindly. Along with 3D graphics, Satellites are one of the most important and most used pieces of technology used for NASA. It was used for communicating with Astronauts in space and like how they were used to transmit radio waves, to communicate with people in Space Stations. "Satellite telescopes have been critical to understanding phenomena like pulsars and black holes as well as measuring the age of the universe." (What are Satellites used
Every city has that one basketball game that everyone goes to. The game that brings the crowd to their feet. That one game that brings thousands of people to the audience, and leave them with something to talk about for the remainder of their lives. Saginaw High vs Arthur Hill boys basketball game is filled with people from all over the state, filled with future NBA players and lots of drama. Saginaw High is located in the poorest and the most dangerous parts of Saginaw,Mi. Just imagine a neighborhood with only three houses on each block and sounds like Fourth of July firecrackers going off every night knowing someone just died. So every year, Saginaw

“The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, also known as MHPAEA is defined as a federal law that prevents group health plans and health insurance issuers that provide mental health or substance use disorder benefits from imposing less favorable benefit limitations on those benefits than on medical or surgical benefits” (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, para 1). Originally, MHPAEA applied only to group health plans and group health insurance coverage, but was “amended by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” to also apply to individual health insurance coverage (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, para 2). “The Mental Health Parity Act of 1996 (MHPA) defined that large group health plans could not impose annual dollar limits on mental health benefits that are less favorable than any limits imposed on medical or surgical benefits” (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, para 6).
Tom Harkin dedicated his life to this issue of Disability Rights after seeing the life of his brother, Frank Harkin. Frank was discriminated against a lot during his childhood as well as his adulthood.
Ty Hafan provides a lot of support to children with disabilities, one form of support is physiotherapy, a physiotherapist visits the hospice Monday to Friday, this helps children and young people with their general stretches and movements, it also gives parents and carers advice on positioning and movements. The hospice also offers hydrotherapy sessions to children and their family, this takes place in an accessible pool area for all. Hydrotherapy sessions can be beneficial to the children because it will enable them to feel free and can also relieve pain, it can also benefit the parents or carers as it is precious time spent together allowing close skin to skin contact. Ty Hafan provides other therapies which support children with disabilities
The second part of the first question asked if the reader believed that Harless was a criminal or a victim of domestic violence who was suffering from PSTD (Rasor, 2017). Nearly all students argued that he was both a criminal and a victim. To better explain, there is very little doubt that Jason Harless was a victim of domestic violence and as a result could suffer from PSTD; however, it is extremely rear for the PSTD to manifest into anger or rage to the point where the victim physically harm other (U.S Department of Veterans Affairs, 2017). That being said, at the end of the day Jason Harless did bring the gun into the school, he did shoot three people, and one did sadly die. Therefore Mr. Harless is a criminal.
What I have learned you say? I have learned so much at this school, more than I could’ve asked. Hickman Middle School is a special place, mainly because of the students and the teachers. Hickman is a small school, and the students are in the right mindset, a mindset to get to college and beyond. We see the examples of our teachers, and they encourage us to make ourselves better. I can’t think of a more fitter middle school that sends students into high school as rock stars. As for me, I’ve learned we need get ourselves to our potential by raising the bar, which is where teacher’s expertise is.
Summarize: It is a live map of US wildfire locations and it shows active and recent fires across the country. Besides, it also shows the location geographical position such as climate zone, earthquake and etcetera. Importantly, it links the information to other social media that related to the particular fire which it means audiences could click the link for the you tube, twitter and etcetera to get more information of the event.
Eerikki Harou was a jarl born in a village in Scandinavia which is now modern-day Aarhus, Denmark. He was nicknamed “Eerikki the Bonesmasher.” Eerikki also was a pagan who worshipped warlike gods such as Odin, the god of war and death. He was known for leading numerous pillages against monasteries in Anglo-Saxon England. Sources say he and his men usually ambushed the monks, killed them swiftly, looted everything valuable out of the monastery, and left the site with many bloody corpses in his trail. His brutal and intuitive tactics caused fear among all people of Europe. This lead to a new prayer in many churches: “Save us, O God, from the fury of the Northmen.” In 878 AD, Eerikki fought with the Great Heathen Army led by Guthrum in the Battle
The morning of the battle, Parker had to go search for the ingredients to make the Liquid Hietrolijum, for Athena. He had to search all around the different city States, to find everything for the potion. It took over four hours for Parker to collect all the ingredients, but in time he still completed his task. When Athena drank the liquid, she transformed into a Golden, armored Owl/ Eagle hybrid Warrior. After she drank the liquid she felt amazing, better than ever. The Athens clan knew that they would win.
Juno has a magnetometer that is used to measure magnetism. Along with a magnetometer, Juno also has a microwave radiometer used to measure microwaves also known as energy emitted at sub-millimeter-to-centimeter wavelengths (at frequencies of 1-1000GHz). Juno also has a Jupiter Energetic Particle Detector Instrument (JEDI). JEDIs were invented to collect data on energy, spectra, mass species (H, He, O, S) and angular distributions. The plan for JEDI is to study the energies and distribution of charged particles. In addition to JEDI, Juno has JADE (Jovian Auroral Distributions Experiment) which it uses to detect and measure ions and electrons around it. Additionally, Juno has a UVS (Ultraviolet Imaging Spectrograph), JIRAM (Jovian Infrared Auroral Mapper) and a JunoCam which is a visible-light camera and telescope for Juno; although it can only record 40 megabytes of footage every 11-day orbital period. Juno also has 3 solar panels attached to it. It is the first mission to Jupiter that uses solar panels. Previous space probes, like Galileo, used radioisotope thermoelectric generators. The solar panels on Juno are symmetrically around the spacecraft. 2 of the panels have 4 hinged segments, while the 3rd panel has 3 segments and a magnetometer. The dimensions of the solar panels is 2.7 meters by 8.9 meters (8.9 by 29.2 feet), which is the biggest on any NASA deep space probe. The combined mass of all the solar panels are
When these droplets settle to the ground, usually they are spread over a wide area, minimizing their effect. (Environmental Impact of Aviation Operations, 2005)
They are known as rime and clear ice, and a mixture of the two is not uncommon. For rime ice to form, an aircraft needs to fly through an area of tiny super-cooled liquid drops. This super-cooled liquid is actually suspended in the cloud cover at temperatures already below freezing. Once the aircraft surface plows through this moisture, the drops are disrupted immediately adhere to and freeze before spreading out over the entire surface. This forms a rough and cloudy-white layer of ice known as rime. Even though the rime surface is rough and creates an airflow disturbance, it is lighter and easier to remove by deicing equipment than clear ice. For clear ice to form, larger sized super-cooled drops would need to be encountered. These larger droplets spread out over the surface and airfoils before freezing. This allows for the build-up of a clear, hard and slick layer of ice on the surface (Ahrens, 2009).
