Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) is one of the six primary key learning areas (KLAS) connecting the study of people, cultures, societies and environments. Because of this, I feel that this key learning area is important in early childhood and primary education as children begin to learn about themselves, their environment as well as their country in a way that is interesting and inspiring to them. When I first viewed the video clips I was amused and pleasantly surprised that our assignment involved viewing a popular television series. I had never seen Entourage before and I had to watch each video clip several times because I was not able to correlate the video clips to what we are learning in the course. This prompted me to do research on the series and in particular on the character, Ari Gold. I also used the caption on the actual video page underneath the movie clip to be able to better understand the context of the clip and to be able to transfer the information and apply it to what we are currently learning in the textbook. The caption stated,

I'd say I can overall bring a mentally positive, determined and skilled person to the staff team and community of Viper HCF. As mentioned previously I have great skills that other members of the community may not have as opposed to myself, because I have previous experience managing a server, This gives me certain skills others will not have. Having these skills, it gives me something that I can do to benefit Viper.
