High school, for many, is commonly termed as “the greatest four years of your life.” It is stopping for coffee with your friends while listening to your favorite songs on the way to school in the morning. It is staring at the clock waiting for the bell to ring to finally go to your favorite class of the day. It is staying after a long day of class for meetings, clubs, or sports, or it is spending Friday nights with your best friends performing under the football field lights. High school can be many different experiences for different people, but most importantly, for me, it was learning essential values of life while shaping me into the person that I am today.

Heading from middle school to high school can seem somewhat intimidating to the average teenager. No more will you be in the safety of those peers you grew up with as you head off to the larger high school that allows you to blend in with grades 9th through 12th. Many first time freshman year high school students are filled with mixed emotions on this next chapter in their life. Today I am sharing some tips on how to survive freshman year at high school so that you can help your teenager relax and breeze through the first days of being a high school freshman.

Attending Cross Creek Early College High School is interesting to me because I will be able to complete high school and some college courses at the same time. I have always dreamed of going to college and this is school will allow me to get a head start on my goals and ambitions. My goal is to be the first person in my family to attend and graduate from college with a bachelor’s degree. Here you need to explain your career goal or what you want to major in. It is my belief that Cross Creek Early College will provide me with the support to reach this goal and to let my other family members know that a college degree will allow me to be a productive citizen.

People always want to know what something means to some one and I try and tell them what it means to me but I never can tell them what High School means to me it is four years long. We have to go in order to get a better degree but the thing that I always want to tell people is that being in high school help you in so many ways. To learn resposibility so that you can be responsible when it comes to getting a job and still keeping good grades. You also make friends that some will last forever and other will fade away but the important things is that you don't hide from others. You need to get out of your own confert zone and join clubs meet new poeple or maybe you wat to be in a sport see if you are good at something. There are so many things

Now that you have seen the similarities and differences between middle school and high school, you’ll realize that high school isn’t as scary as it may seem. Although high school is quite different than middle school, after you adapt to the environment, everything else will be simple. High school is just a more serious version of middle school and this is because the high school has to prepare you for the world that you will be going into. Supposedly high school is some of the best years of your life. Freshman year can be hard without any help from friends or upper classes. Coming from being “Top Dogs” in middle school going to being the “Smallest” kids in school is rough. It is always good to take advice when it is given. Dear Freshman, to be successful and to start your high school experience with a good start, do sports, get to know and connect with teachers and put effort towards classes.

Wow. You've finally made it; En route to become an adult. I'm going to be honest with you, high school is not what it seems like on tv. Next year, you're about to cross a threshold of excitement, anxiety, depression and heartbreaks. High school is where you have to sacrifice your happiness; get lack of sleep; where caffein will be your number one best friend. You'll meet new people, experience new things. You will be treated as an adult and have more responsibilities lay upon your shoulders. You'll probably end up getting up job; trust me you'll need it. You will struggle trying to keep up with school work but, you'll get your freedom to go out and chill with friends; Do Not go overboard, you'll thank me later.

Finally, you have reached the point in your life where you transition into high school. This is where puberty hits, drama ignites, and classes actually require you to think. It is also a time for Friday night football games and of course the most magical time of the year, prom. High school has a lot of great opportunities to take advantage of, but if not handled with great care, it can create the worst four years of your life. Some are known to refer to high school as their four year sentence in purgatory, I hope your experience is more delightful.

High school is one of the many things in life that can change a person. You go from being super immature from middle school to being more mature in high school. High school can help mature almost anybody.

Some high schools offer a program that allows their students to graduate in three years as opposed to four. Being able to gain your freedom early appeals to approximately 94% of students in the United States. This program offers an amazing experience for these students. Allowing students to start college early, start their career, and begin the rest of their lives are the reasons I think this program is a positive presence in our school districts.

As you enter freshmen year you will immediately notice the differences between high school and middle school. Change will be inevitable. With a new building to explore, new faces in the halls, and a new schedule to memorize nothing will be the same. Most importantly, the biggest change you will notice will be the change within yourself. Transitioning from middle school to high school means growing, it means taking risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone. How you change will depend on your actions, it will depend on how you handle the challenges thrown your way. This might sound daunting and you might not have a clue as to what I mean but do not panic, just read ahead.

School is always extremely important in my town because it's a huge part of everybody's life. We have 3 schools but 2 of them are really competitors, elementary school and middle school. The only question is, which one is the best?

High school most certainly changes many people without even realizing it. Certain things are not the same as they were back in middle school. This new transition to high school was an absolute shock to me, I never believed such events would occur or things would end up changing. Based on that, I wished things would go back to being the same, but there was no point in trying, because nothing was going to go back to normal. Do not ever think that in high school, you will end up graduating with the same group of friends as you did when you were in middle school. In high school, so many things will transform and whether you like it or not, you cannot do anything about it to fix this situation.

Everyone always says how everything changes in high school. You’re treated with more responsibility and more homework, just more of everything. There is a big transition from junior high to high school. The thought of entering high school for me was exciting and scary all at once. The fact that I’ll be with all of the big kids was pretty scary and being in high school and being a part of it was exciting.
