History of the company Walmart was founded in Bentonville, Arkansas USA. The founder, Sam Walton, had owned previous stores called Walton’s Five and Dime that had led to Wal-Mart. You can find a Wal-Mart location anywhere across the United States of America and ships globally. Wal-Mart provides many products and services for their customers. The store sells household products like bedding supplies to game consoles. Wal-Mart even supplies people with their market where they sell produce and selected food like cereal, cans goods, bread, etc. Walmart services provide pharmacies, photo technicians, money-related products, and deliveries for people. Wal-Mart was designed to be opposite of other large super stores. It is meant to help with less crowding in aisles, better parking for everyone, and quicker lines. Wal-Mart attracts low budget customers. They want to provide quality items for those with a small price range. Wal-Mart has a revenue of $482.13 billion and 150+ distribution centers. Every distribution center supports 90 to 100 stores in a 150+ mile radius. (Walmart, 2016) Company Mission, Vision, and Philosophy Wal-Mart mission Statement is "Saving people money so they can live better"(Lucio, 2012).
