Tom Brady: The Greatest of All Time Tom Brady is hated by many fans of the NFL. A lot of people hate him because they say he gets everything he wants or that he wins too much. People also hate him for things they are not even sure that he did. People do not understand that he was not always a star. Tom Brady has had a significant impact on today's society because he is an example of how underdogs can become champions, is an example of how to overcome cheating allegations, and how he is the best quarterback to ever play in the NFL. Tom Brady rose to stardom quickly, but he was once an underdog. Starting off his football career, Tom Brady was unwanted and did not get any playing time in college. To start off, Tom Brady has broken a lot of records. Some of his records include the most super bowl wins by a quarterback, most super bowl MVP selections, has won twenty five of the thirty four playoff games he has started in, has been selected to twelve pro bowls, and he has the most divisions won by a single quarterback (Doeden). For instance, he also has led the Patriots from a losing team to a winning team. With Tom Brady starting at quarterback the Patriots have never had a losing season (Doeden). In addition, he also has broken records for his stats. One of the records he broke was the best Touchdown to interception ratio of 28-2, because of this he wants to play until he is fourth eight (Reyes). At this years Super Bowl he had a great game. The Patriots overcame a twenty five point deficit and took the game to the first Super Bowl overtime game, he threw his first post season pick six ever after playing in thirty four playoff games, and in the last six possessions of the game he lead his team to four touchdowns and a field goal (Craig). After all, he did this all while his family was going through tough times. His mom was battling cancer and Brady dedicated the win to her (Hofforth). This is why Tom Brady is the best quarterback to ever live. Tom Brady was able to go from being an underdog to a champion, become the greatest quarterback to ever live, get past allegations, and become an influence in the 21st century. He was unwanted his whole life, but made his way up to the NFL. Everyone was skeptical of his abilities and if he really cheated, but through all of that he persevered. This is why Tom Brady was an influence in the 21st century not just for athletes but
As a lifelong fan of Notre Dame, his dream had come true, he was going to be able to play football at The University of Notre Dame. This was only the start of an impressive career, but with that being said, it took twists and turns that no one had ever expected.(Sports Stars) Randy Moss changed the game of football due to the fact that he changed the landscape for rookies, became a notorious and influential NFL player, and developed a new “character” in the NFL.
Tom Brady deserves to be on my ESPN magazine cover because he the greatest football player of all time. He is a 5x Super Bowl Champion, 4x Super Bowl MVP, and a 12x time Pro Bowler. Tom Brady has conquered an enormous amount of adversity. Tom Brady struggled to earn a starting spot at the University of Michigan throughout his college career. After he finished college, he continued to face adversity in the NFL. At the combine Brady was seen as one of the lowest quarterbacks in the combine. He ran a 5.28 on the 40 yard dash and this combine report was written about him: poor build, skinny, lacks great physical stature and strength, lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush, lacks a really strong arm, can’t drive the ball downfield, does not
Tom Brady is the quarterback for the New England Patriots of the NFL. With his eight Super Bowl appearances, and unprecedented five Super Bowl wins, he’s been labeled by many as the greatest quarterback in the history of football. Many attribute this to his hard work off the field, and leadership on the field. In my personal analysis, we’ve never seen a player like Brady. Someone who just finds a way to win, against all odds. Whether it be working against opposing defenses, haters, or even the league itself, Brady just has a knack for winning. This had led him to become the winningest player in NFL history. People close to him have said that this attitude of “needing to win” has been present since his high school career. As a backup on his
In sports today, Tom Brady is one the greatest quarterbacks to play; however, the way he won his most recent championship is ridiculous.
Tom Brady is the Quarterback for the New England Patriots. He has won four super bowls and has won six AFC Championships. He is the only Quarterback to be picked in the 6th round and go on to six super bowls and win four of the six. Brady has also went to the AFC Championship five consecutive times NFL record, Brady is also the only Quarterback to win six AFC Championships. Tom Brady has had the best NFL career for a Quarterback ever, being picked in the 6th round many people did not believe he would be an amazing Quarterback like today. In 2007 Brady had the best season of his career going 16-0, he threw 50 touchdowns and threw for almost 5,000 yards with only eight interceptions. Brady would go on to the Super
The reason why i think that this is the most important reason why is that a Super Bowl is the main goal heading into a season and when you achieve that goal five times that’s impressive (“Tom”, Biography). Which Peyton Manning has done it twice but that’s nothing to Brady. Plus Peyton Manning only played good in one of those Super Bowls while Brady has never played a bad Super Bowl in his career (“Peyton”, Biography). The recent Super Bowl was the Patriots vs Falcons and the final score in that game was 34-28, it will go down in history as one
During his time at the University of Florida, Tim Tebow was known as one of the greatest college football players ever. He won two National Championships and a Heisman trophy, which is the award given to the best player in college football. During this time period in college footbal,l players such as Reggie Bush and others were involved with investigations regarding illegal benefits being given to players by agents and boosters. Needless to say, Tim was never associated or involved in these investigations or crimes.
Tom Brady is the best quarterback in NFL history because he’s tied for the most Super Bowl wins for a quarterback, he also has two MVP trophies, and is on pace for another MVP season. Tom Brady overcomes the odds no matter what. He was a sixth round draft pick so there was very little faith in his ability as a professional quarterback.

Pat Tillman had a stronger work ethic than most everyone. Tillman showed his hard work in every aspect of his life on the fiend and off he had a 3.5 or higher GPA all threw high school. When Pat was a 8th grader he tried out for the varsity baseball team, he didn't make the team also he decided to mainly focus on football. Brett Favre was more than just the starting quarterback in the Green Bay community and organization. He was face of the franchise, and a living legend in the national football league. Before Favre’s arrival to Green Bay, The Packers had only five winning seasons between the years of 1968 and 1991. In Brett’s sixteen NFL seasons with Green Bay, they recorded just one losing season. With the Packers Brett won three consecutive MVP awards coming in 1994, 1995, and 1996. He was nominated
Once he was drafted, Hernandez quickly proved his professionalism as a football player. He had 45 catches in his first year, which was a Patriots team record for the tight ends, helping the team secure the AFC Championship. In his second year, playing alongside with Rob Gronkowski, he led the Patriots offense with 24 touchdowns and 2,237 receiving yards, helping secure the team’s position in the Super Bowl XLVI. Then in his third year he was injured, but was still positioned to become a leader of the team, which was recognized by the Patriots with his sizable signing bonus (A&E, 2015).
One of the team’s biggest strengths is their powerhouse offense. But the man under center is what makes that powerhouse offense run. That man is Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league if not the best. His statistics are unbelievable. He has the highest quarterback rating in NFL history at 103.8, while the second closest is 98.9. He has thrown 300 touchdowns to only 74 interceptions. That being a 4:1 touchdown to interception ratio, also the best in NFL history. One of his most impressive streaks was his success at home. In 2015, he threw an interception at home. The last one he threw at home before that was in 2012. He went three years without throwing an interception at home. Truly a remarkable feat. In 2011, Aaron had one of the best seasons
