Twin Falls- The famous pioneer of cartoon films, and the creator of Disneyland is Walt Disney. Walt Disney was born December 5, 1901; his parents were Elias Disney and Flora Call Disney. Growing up, Disney had four brothers and a sister. Disney moved to Kansas city in 1911 and there he learned of his love for trains. He worked at the railroad, selling newspapers and snacks to the people passing by. Disney attended McKnight High School, where he contributed to the school newspaper. Even though Walt Disneywasn’t a thing until the 1930’s and 1940’s, he began his work in the 1920’s. Disney was obsessed with innovation. He and his company did so much for science, in fact the first multiplane camera was invented by the Walt Disney Company his passion for creating cartoons and drawings sparked a revolution in the early works of present day media.

He decided to move to Hollywood with the help from his brother Roy Disney, he was able to start Disney Brothers Studio, here he was able to publish his Alice Comedies on TV, which became very popular. His first character he create, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, became a huge hit in 1927 but unfortunately Charles Mintz, in charge of Universal Studios at the time, stole the rights to Oswald and took most of Walt’s employees away.
