Does technology have a negative impact to human 's life? Yes, it does, because it has decreased the need for social interaction. Communication is the glue that helps people deepen their connections to others and improve teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving. The way in which people communicate with others is changing drastically, and not for the better. Although technology has provided an opportunity to find and get in touch with others and allowed people to maintain relationships with their friends and family who may not be close to them, people 's relationships with others in their direct social circles are suffering. Imagine receiving a text from one of your friends; a hilarious joke they had thought of on a whim. You could send a laughing-face emoji or the more common "lol" text back, but it could never take the place of both of your side-splitting laughs filling the room if you were together. A group text couldn't even come close to what a night out with friends would be. Technology is creating a deadening power on society by disconnecting people from the world around them, replacing the meaningfulness of human interaction, and simplifying thoughts and pleasures to only the most immediate.

It is evident that technology was created to help humans in making jobs easier and more efficient. Nowadays electronics can perform tasks that seemed to be impossible in the past. At the end of the day, we have to realize that technology has some of its benefits but it also adheres ramifications. We have to be wary of the benefits and the harmful effects that play in our life. We also have to be aware of the effect that technology has on others, such as having a phone out during a conversation aiding ill-mannerism. Technology connects us in many ways but it also distances us. It creates dissonance when we are having a face-to-face interactions and the other person is distracted because of their phone.
