Obesity is the condition of being excessively fat and overweight due to extra body fat in the body. Obesity occurs in the body if fat is located around the organs and tissues of the body, as well as underneath the skin. Obesity can result in severe health risks such as heart disease, diabetes, increased blood pressure, and cancer. Symptoms of obesity include the loss of breath, excessive sweating, sleeping complications, the inability to do physical activities, tiredness, and bone pain. Over the years, obesity has negatively affected large populations of the world. Obesity rates have greatly increased throughout the United States, exceeding between 20%-35%. Obese humans that lose weight and body fat are able to gain it back within five years, causing the treatment of obesity to become challenging. Recently, a claim was made that worldwide obesity has become a growing issue. The global population is expanding, as well as the weight of humans. Obesity rates throughout the world have increased, as 1.9 billion adults have been overweight and 600 have obese since 2014. A majority of countries have experienced an increase in obesity rates between the years of 2010 and 2014. Obesity is not just a worldwide issue for adults, but is also an issue for children. 42 million children were known to be obese and overweight in 2013 causing countries to fight against obesity among children. People are limiting the amount of physical activity and exercise they do. In the United States, people generally work forty seven hours a week sitting at desks and tables and being inactive, causing people to limit the amount of exercise they do. Even if people did want to exercise more, many areas have lacked programs that allow people to take part in physical activities.
