Many schools have sport programs after school and because of this some people are failing school, districts running out of money to use for the school, instead, using it for school sports. By suspending sports districts can save thousands of dollars, people won’t be failing as much as they use to because they don’t have sports in mind to distract them from learning. Schools should get rid of sports for the benefit of the school.
One reason that schools should get rid of sports is so the district can use money for more important things. A school
I believe we should get rid of after school sports, because schools are going over budgets, and kids are getting distracted from school. Yes many people believe we should keep sports because they help students relieve stress and help students relax; but they have caused schools to go over budget and scholars grades have dropped. Therefore, schools should get rid of after school sports because districts cannot afford them, kids are getting distracted, and scholars grades will improve.
Everyone knows academics are the main point of school, but athletics have begun to take over and draw away from that focus. Many individuals believe school sports are more important than ever; however, cost is excessive and players often think about upcoming games or matches, detracting attention from homework. Therefore, districts should eliminate after-school sports because they cost tremendous amounts of money, cause academic failure, and are a major distraction.
School sports have been a costly addition to after school activities. And districts have talked about canceling them. Therefore, school sports should be canceled to give students more time to study, to improve the U.S. academic rating, and save the district money.
At the end of a long, stressful day at school, you look out to the field where you will soon be with your friends, enjoying the sun on your skin and working off the stress of your cooped up day at school, with your favorite sport, of course. The article “Should Your School Get Rid of School Sports?” has two very strong point of views. Part one, “Yes! It’s Time to Scale Back” by Amanda Ripley argues that we should get rid of school sports. However, part two, “No! Sports Are More Important Than Ever” by Tim O’Shei argues that we should keep school sports. School sports can be expensive, but there are many more benefits and reasons for having sports at school than getting rid of them.
Sports progrmas should not be cut out like Premont but they should be greatly reduced or at least run by organizations outside of school, in turn this will improve school focus and performance, along with providing more funding for school programs that contribute to learning. Every so often the news talks about hundreds of schools being shut down in america and this will continue if change doesn't happen, and the change that needs to be done is cutting down on
After school sports are a big thing in America. Although students cherish these activities; numerous studies have shown that students get better grades if they drop out of sports. Therefore, schools should get rid of after-school sports because they are expensive, students will get better grades, and athletics is a distraction from school work.
To begin, school sports should be cut because they have a negative impact on academics. In Premont Independent School District sports were cut to improve grades. After a semester without sports the passing rate increased from 50% to 80%. As well, 100 more people attended the conferences (Amanda Ripley). Cutting sports improved grades greatly and it got more people involved in the school.
Without sports America's schools would shatter in boredom and stress. Kids feel sports help their health and grades, parents agree with most of them. However schools think sports will cause academic failures. If sports disappear America's students will get stressed and stress results in academic failure. All schools should have sports programs because they relieve stress on kids, they help lots of kids score higher on tests, and they keep kids happy and healthy.
Recently American test scores have been down but the first thing people blame for this epidemic is sports. Instead of looking at the infrastructure of our school system. Sports are ingrade in American culture and how we life so to just take them away would be dractace. Sports should stay in schools because the keep kids out of trouble, help kids get better grades, and it helps them later on in their life.
Every year, thousands of people move to the United States from all over the world to play sports. According to the district they threatened to flunk sports down because they were rolling to cause financial problems and it would cut the cost of equipment. Therefore, schools should not have sports because they can cause district's financial problems, academic failures and students will not have the proper rooms to teach.
There is an ongoing debate about whether school sports should stay in or out of schools. If a school or a district cuts sports, they could save a abundance of money. Therefore, school sports should be terminated to save money to spend on other needed educational items, to improve academic grades, and get students better sleep.
Parents and administrators have been wondering of sports are literally helping, or harming education. Schools have had after-school activities for decades, but this has made too difficult for many students to finish their work. Therefore, sports should be removed to increase the ability to save money, improve grades, and give kids the opportunity to pay more attention in class.
Cutting sports from schools is a good idea for a number of reasons, such as: Kids will be able to do their homework without the stress of having to play a game the next night.
For a long time, many people have been debating whether school sports should be eliminated. Athletic programs can be an excessive distraction for important things in a student’s academic career. Therefore, school sports should be cancelled to cut costs, help students focus on their education, and save time for schools.
Schools should keep sports for athletic skills and events. Schools are taking away sports because it's too expensive. Schools should not take away sports.
