“A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.” ― Ronald Reagan
In this country, immigration has became a big problem. Racism has also reached a new level. People mostly foreigners are being discriminated recently due to D.Trump. Mostly Mexicans are being targeted the most according to because all Mexican immigrants are mostly criminals, job stealers, and rapists. I strongly disagree because not every immigrants are such criminals as they are described as. But another solution is to help the poor countries that the immigrants are coming from. Only 1 million people are legally immigrated into the U.S. but there are 5.3 billion poor people including children suffering who needs more help so the U.S. should at least try to make an agreement on making the poor countries like Malawi,India, and other known countries.
It probably will be a bad problem if we keep getting 1 million immigrants into the U.S. because then, the U.S. will be packed with immigrants eventually the U.S. will be a mixed country and just a land that people move to and the existence of the United States of America will soon disappear and be taken over by the immigrants and even if Trump says that he’s going to build a wall across the border of Mexico but it’s not just Mexico with all the immigrants coming in the

The only real “Americans” maybe are the natives and they were still discriminated by the people so we need to fix the problem of racism and discrimination.“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.” -Theodore
The immigration patterns of the United States have fluctuated over the years, some years having little while others see a rising amount of immigrants, both legal and illegal, looking for opportunities to improve their lives. The amount of illegal immigration is a problem since many take advantage of the social services provided by the government without contributing towards the country since they are not citizens and many people see these illegal immigrants as a threat to their employment. Illegal immigrants do affect the U.S negatively in a number of ways, but if those illegal immigrants were to have a safe passageway towards gaining citizenship, the immigrants would contribute greatly towards the
It is hard for the government to find a solution that would please everyone. Many people feel that the only way to solve this problem would be to stop all immigrants from crossing the U.S. boarder. Then what does the United States become? It does not stay what America is supposed to be a land of opportunity.
The issue of immigration has become a major debate for everyone. Although people argue over the negative impacts of immigrants living in America such as overcrowding, less jobs due to immigrants taking them, drug trafficking, and threatening of American culture, immigrants still have a huge impact in the American society. The United States is by far the largest destination for immigrants, annually receiving over a million legal immigrants and about seven hundred thousand illegal immigrants. Many people come to the United States to get a better life for themselves as well as for the education system for their children.

Only to become a hot topic in the US in recent years with its primary focus being illegal immigrants. Illegal immigration is when people enter a country without government permission. As of 2008 the Center for Immigration Studies estimated that there are 11 million illegal immigrants in the US which is down from 2007‘s 12.5 million people. More and more immigrants are coming in to the United States each year, and we as a nation should truly reevaluate our immigration

Immigration has been a problem since the 1800s but now in the 2010s the immigration rate has increased over the years. We expect the immigration numbers to go up if nothing is done to stop from illegal immigrants coming across the border. There is many different viewpoints to look at immigration, many thinks it's good that they are in the United States because it could help the United States ecological standards. Some others don't like it at all that they are in the United States because of jobs getting outnumbered by illegal immigrants and leaves no american to get a jobs at certain companies.
Illegal immigration into the United States has caused America's population to grow, but has also kept jobs from Americans and has ultimately been a negative since illegal immigration into the United States is undermining our federal government. The U.S. is slammed by growing numbers in population. It seems that many do not think of the long term effects of this increase. This is one of the most significant problems Americans face today, yet no one talks about the problem, when it comes to the debate over immigration. “The current world population is over 6 billion and increases at a rate of 76,570,430 people every year. Since 1950, U.S. population has nearly doubled - growing from 151 million to over 294 million today. If present trends continue, our population will exceed 400 million by the year 2050. Immigration contributes over one million people to the U.S. population annually. The total foreign-born population in the U.S. is now 31.1 million, a record 57 percent
Every year, around one million people are immigrating into the United States both legally and illegally. As of now nearly 40 million immigrants live in the United States; 11.5 million of which came to the country illegally (CNN). That is nearly thirteen percent of the total United States population. Illegal immigrants have always been a problem for the United States. Entering the country illegally can result in deportation back to their native country. The majority of those that enter the country illegally are here to find a better future. As more and more undocumented immigrants pour into this country, stricter laws are being passed which in terms becomes a controversial issue.
Immigration has been apart of world history for ages and ages. Ever since the pilgrims settled in the New Americas to practice there own religion, countries have been trying to invade so they can call it there own home. Throughout the years, immigration has indeed grown with problems. Immigrants from around the world wanted to make the United States they’re new home, but with new lives come change. The government had to respond to the rapid population growth along with new foreign residents, taking away native-born Americans there jobs and space.

Even backed then, there were mixed emotions as many Americans did not favor foreigners and there were many attempts to restrict what they were allowed to do. Immigrants come across the border every day. According to Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform, 700,000 new illegals enter each year and remain in the country and that there are an unofficial number of 8 to 12 million total stated by the US Department of Homeland Security in 2003 and has only increased. Illegal immigration is a two headed beast as there is a good side and a bad side and even though many are against illegal immigration, it is important that illegal immigration is discussed as ignoring it will make the situation worse and that they are allowed to stay in the country because of the benefits that they provide for America.
Immigration is a very hot topic in the U.S at the moment. Most people come to this country to find better opportunities, to have a chance of becoming something great in life but some people do it illegally and that has brought a big issue. There are about 12 million immigrants in the U.S and only about 1 million are legal. People says they are over populating, that they are taking their jobs. Well to solve that there is only one best solution and that is to legalize all those immigrants.
Immigration has been a topic of much concern to the U.S. and its citizens in not only recent years, but since the birth of the country. Before the 21st century, immigrants did not only come from Central and South America but they also came from Europe and Asia. The nationality of people has changed over the years, as have the opinions of the citizens in the U.S.
