Betrayed, a House of Night novel. I highly recommend this book to you. This book has reeled me in from the very beginning. It is romantic yet heartbreaking. Betrayed is a good book because it has humans, vampires, and death, all the more exciting. This book has it all, and catches your attention instantly. Zoey's powers will amaze you, her friends, and her loyalty will also amaze you. The P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast wrote a "dark, as well as thrilling" story of betrayal.

Fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird has managed to settle in at the House of Night. She's come to terms with the vast powers the vampyre goddess, Nyx, has given her, and is getting a handle on being the new Leader of the Dark Daughters. One that stood out to me was," remember, darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good." This simile stands out so much. It is so inspirational. Another one that stands out is, "he os not the brightest crayola on the pack." This is a metaphor because it compares a person to a crayon, a non living thing. "Did all he** just freeze over!" - Zoey. This is referring to a place that is known to be very hot, so saying that it just froze over is metaphorically speaking, as in something totally opposite happening.

Betrayed, a novel in the series of House of Night os a wonderful, romantic, thrilling, and devour able. It ha reeled me in from the first paragraph. I never wanted to stop reading this book.
