To be an exemplary one need not pick great things but one should possess lateral thinking. I always have a desire of standing out in the crowd and make my own identity in the group. My zeal of making things perfect actually helped in creating my own mark. I never think of making a right decision but instead I try to make it worth taking. After working as Associate Engineer in of the top MNC I took a call of pursuing higher studies in this field. I realized that I have to ameliorate my skill set to start a standard project from scratch. I could not limit myself to a normal Engineer in the company as my passion for technology always drives me to learn new things and I could not let it down.
I had completed my tenth from Jasmine High School with 81%. Travelling was always part of daily life right from my schooling and I invested this time in proliferating my knowledge. To attend few classes I had got to travel alone in the early hours of day, when people in my city are busy in dreaming at the same time even I was dreaming about my career. My dream to excel and zeal to try new things had not let me sleep. It wasn’t a cake walk in the beginning as I came out from the routine path and have forced myself to overcome my own fears in the young age. But to begin in a new page in the history it is important to come out of previous impressions. The leader inside me was never quite and made me to pick up the responsibility of school leader. Leading the way for 1000 students and not
I believe that one should constantly learn and seek new skills and information since it enhances one’s understanding of the world, provide opportunities, and develop skills. Committed to learning, I am willing to spend the necessary time to cultivate my mind in the quest for knowledge and I achieved this through diligence, perseverance, discipline, and by providing the best work possible in the workplace around me. This ambition to push for excellence would be a beneficial trait to have in the future, for I still strive to put quality into everything I do, even when I do not receive any recognition or praise, and this attitude would help me make rapid strides not only in my academic career but my life overall.
Responsibility, leadership and commitment are often associated with the term “society.” Being a member of a club requires responsibility, leadership and commitment. However, society often secludes the fact that people who leave their mark on this world, also have imagination. The National Junior Honor Society should consider me for their program because not only do I possess these three traits, but I also have creativity. Creativity has created the most radical inventions ever
With evidence and constant supporting examples it is evident that you can be the change you want to be. Another important aspect of creating opportunities revolves around the concept of doing a job well regardless of whether you enjoy it or not. In reality, the dream job is not typically the first job, the second job, or even the third. However, this does not count as an excuse for not performing to the highest capacity at any level of work. Adam expands, saying that it is crucial to “get in the habit of doing things well” and not judge a job because you it feel it might be below you. Doing a job properly and to the fullest ability demonstrates attention to the detail and is a key indicator of overall job performance to employers.

Masters of Arts in educational leadership is a study field that interested me deciding on the master program to pursue (Green, 2010). The program is essential in academic institutions since it views leadership as a relational process. In other words, it has an all-inclusive attitude towards people and their diverse points of views sharing a common goal and vision among individuals in the institution. The strong interest and desire of pursuing the art program resulted from the interest of understanding the cultural aspects of people that leads to their diversified points of view. Additional interests in educational leadership arose from the increased urge of expounding knowledge on leadership. Furthermore, based on the dynamic nature of the modern society, pursuing the master program aimed at understanding different management styles and required skills for these styles (Green, 2010). The discussion paper has the objective of expounding and reflecting on the different aspects of educational leadership learnt in the MA in educational leadership program.
At these times, in compound business environment and growing competition, to be able to compete on the job market you need to possess outstanding skills and be always a step ahead of others. Being a good learner and constantly developing one’s
After several semesters being surrounded by smart, ambitious Business School students, I've noticed that there are striking differences in the ways people define an exceptional career. And the way people define success can have a big impact, not only on decisions about their first jobs, but also how much they achieve and happy they are in their careers.
Since I was a kid, my biggest dream has been to walk across the stage and get my High School diploma. I came from Honduras three years ago, for a better education. I did not grow up with my parents. After twelve years I reunited with my parents in Houston Tx. On March 26, 2014, I came to Conroe High School without knowing not English. During my first day was not easy, but I found the way to make it easy. The first thing I learned was to understand English when people talks to me. By the time I learned to write English. I’ve worked hard to be where I am today. Actually I got a job after school, but that does not mean I am careless about my credits and classes. Sometimes I was tired but I tried not to miss school. I only have two absences
The big day has arrived! I said; however, to be honest I was trembling, very nervous. Actually, I could not sleep very well ,that day was driving me crazy, but I was ready to do my best in the front of the classroom ,I was thinking is just one day, nothing happens in one day, I made everything, I analyze every single step, Moreover I made the research ,I gathered the material, I got photocopies for the students, I made even a presentation in power point, I create a very interesting activities where the students and I we will interact and have a little fun I was thinking,’’ I did everything” So, there’s no going back in this day. I surpassed my fear, and I went to the classroom.
At that age, I had high hopes and dreams for my future. I remember I had different dreams and was not sure of what I really wanted to be. My first primary school was Buganda Road Primary School, which I joined in 2001 and later transferred to Kampala Junior School in 2003 where I completed my primary level education in 2007. I later joined Gayaza High School in 2008, and I was very proud of myself because it was my dream high school. Gayaza High school is one of the top traditional single sex schools in Uganda due to its’ history of admitting top female students in Uganda. At Gayaza High School, we were taught to stand out not only in academics, but also co-curricular activities. I later completed my A-Level education at St. Mary’s College School, Kitende in 2013. I am proud to say that from primary till the end of my high school, I was listed as a top first grade student.
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn’t. As I spend more and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How
It has not been easy but challenging and interesting. Unfortunately in this present job I have no colleagues, institution authorities or supervisors, which means anything I do in the classroom hardly ever provides me any feedback of what I am doing. Except of course for the eventual commentaries I receive from my students and the annual performance evaluation. Therefore I had this urgent necessity of obtaining some refreshment and reviewing of what I am doing in my classroom. I need to make a stop to reflect about how effective my teaching is. If the things I am doing are adequate and suitable to take my pupils to achieve their goal to communicate in the target language. Teaching in this context was at the beginning of the journey a frightening and stressing episode, first of all because I did not know anything about mining, geology, finance and accounting, just to mention some and not to make myself look like a complete ignorant. Secondly the atmosphere in a corporate has nothing to do with the informal ambience in an elementary school and thirdly but not least important, the students expectations and perceptions are not the same. Thus, I had to remake myself.
