My dad has 7 sisters and they all live in Missouri or right outside of Missouri. I remember when we went to see his family we stayed in his oldest sister’s house. She had a huge fish tank full of fish and every day they would jump out so we would have to watch them in case they did jump out we could put them back into the tank. I was only three four at the most and when those fish jumped out of that tank I didn’t know what to do so I let them sit there on the floor. That was too much responsibility for a three-year-old kid. I started school when I was four-years-old. I didn’t hate school when I first started but I definitely didn’t enjoy it. When I first started school Brody was one of my best friends. My first ever teacher was Mrs. Anderson. She was a good teacher. I didn’t never paid much attention to the other kids, Brody was my friend and I had a couple other friends and that was all I needed. When I first started school I never did get in any serious trouble at school (that I remember of) except for a couple of times for talking. During the summer before I started first grade my dad brought home some baby chickens for me and my little brother. We built them a cage so they wouldn’t run off to the neighbor’s house or so a coyote would not find them and kill them. We never could figure out why but all expect for about three of the chickens out of about twenty or so survived most of their lifetime. I think a black

School, to me and among many peers of my age, is not a distant term. I have spent one-third of my life time sitting in classrooms, every week since I was seven years old. After spending this much time in school, many things and experiences that happened there have left their mark in my memory. Some are small incidences while some have had a great impact on me. However, regardless the degree of significance, things that happened all contributed to shape the person that I am now.
