For this project we created a market place. I spent many hours creating small details that gave the project a special touch. In the I-Lab, I worked with clay to make the food in both Miami and Rome. This was fun, but at times was very stressful. This is because it was very tedious and after making a few got boring. The clothing in both sides of the marketplace was no different. Sometimes, I became quite agitated because we were pressed on time, but in the end we finished it! Even if Connor did not believe we would. As a group we all took an equal part in this project, I extremely loved the process. I learned that even the most complicated project can be completed in five days. The hardest part of this project was making sure each building would
This project in general was kind of fun. It’s better than some of the past assignments we've had. So it might be interesting if we had future assignments similar to this, because it involves a group & I like group work, because it gets done faster. My group was fair and on task. All of us did what we had to do, because we all care about grade. Since we all care about grade a lot, we completely focused on the assignment. No one was ever off task, and that was good, because we needed to get this assignment done. Another good things is, we never argued. I’m glad this happened, because if it did we would have never finished and that would have been bad. Throughout the whole assignment my group and I had perfect communication skills with one another
This project was quite expeditious due to the number of alternate subjects studied within the constraints of school. This made it quite difficult to complete because time limits were evident and tested. This could have had a substantial impact on the project itself, however, it did not because of skill and precision. Working individually could be beneficial in certain circumstances if one is smart, advantages might include independence and personal idea. Although, it was not easy coming up with good ideas and multi-tasking in different areas individually. In addition, working in a class group was helpful due to the amount of
Guidelines are created to ensure a success interview process. Setup meeting time with the individuals, which will be interviewed and be prepared and on time. When conducting the interview examine the background of the organization and have a checklist readily available. Be on time for the interview be sure to pay close attention to what the user is saying and what the company are looking for. Refrain form using computer and information technology jargon. Collect both qualitative and quantitative information from the user. Distinguish between what is a desirable and essential requirement. Repeat back to the user what is
Task 2 Shelf Life Plot (6 p) In Excel prepare t90 vs. reaction condition plot(s). (If you explored only one variable, you will have a single plot, for several or combined variables, multiple plots may be in order). Paste-in the plot(s) below.
The ‘potion’ that the kids made at the Dorr Museum was an open ended project, we gave the kids instructions for how to get the activity started, but the end result was completely in their hands. They had the choice to pick from several different objects with fragrances to include in their project, which fragrances and how much of each fragrance they wanted was up to them. Similarly, at the Discovery Museum, the kids were making insect headbands, I would get them started on the headband part, but what they added to the band was all up to them. Most
Throughout the years, I have had many great opportunities to grow as a person and as a leader through 4-H. My ten years of involvement in the Columbia County 4-H Project has had an enormous impact on my life. It taught me how to be a better leader. It introduced me to some great people and some wonderful leadership positions. I gained skills in the project, such as horsemanship, but more importantly, I grew as a person. If it wasn't for the things I learned and the people I met in 4-H, I would not be the person I am today. The many activities I have participated in through 4-H have given me opportunities to grow as a student, athlete, horseman, and leader. The skills that I have gained through 4-H will stay with me for the rest of my life,
The Macro Field Project that I will be implementing is the Strengthening Families Program at the Department of Social Services. The purpose of this project is to address the issues related to high risk families. The program will provide instruction on parenting skills, communication, and tools to decrease their risk of out of home placement of the child while improving their quality of family unity (“Strengthening Families Program”, n.d.). The goals of the program are to decrease child misconduct in the home and school, delinquency, substance abuse in children and to improve social competencies (“Strengthening Families Program”, n.d.). The last goal is to improve the relationship between the parent and child and to increase bonding in hopes that child abuse will be prevented (“Strengthening Families Program”, n.d.). The goals/objectives of the project reflect the goals of
I am a senior at my school and will soon leave for college. My parents have decided to expand their housing ownership to the college district that I will be going to and I will be the one responsible for their new property. As you can imagine I know next to nothing about owning and maintaining a house and, after looking some things up, I realized that I also know very little about how to go about things in the real world. I started this project for myself so I wouldn’t mess up something important for them, but quickly realized that it would make a great senior project. I already know the basics of how to take care of both myself and a house but I realize that I will need more detailed information when I graduate. The main area for my project is English as I will be producing a finished manuscript on the subject of living alone for the first time.
The first project we will look at is a proposal by Book scape to add an online book ordering and information service. Although the impetus for this proposal comes from the success of other online retailers like Amazon.com, Book scape’s service will be more focused on helping customers research books and find the ones they need rather than on price. Thus, if Book scape decides to add this service, it will have to hire and train well-qualified individuals to answer customer queries, in addition to investing in the computer equipment and phone lines that the service will require. This project analysis will help illustrate some of the issues that come up when private businesses look at investments and also when businesses take on projects that
Designing has been a major aspect of my career as an engineering student. One of my most notable moments of design was my Freshman Engineering Projects course. In this class I designed a handlebar light for bikes with the goal of making it both more economical than and superior to current designs. Working in a group with three others, we set out to make a light that would be more robust, secure, and safer than current products on the market. The process began with three rough ideas of where we wanted to go and through many iterations of tweaking, testing, and prototyping we narrowed our plan down to one final design. Throughout the time we took preparing our final product we always had the cyclists we were making the product for in mind.
I worked in a group with Wyatt and Jarik. This project was not very difficult but, it was not very easy either. I would rather do these kind of projects than learn about grammar and DOL. This project took a while to complete. I felt like it was a good amount of time to complete the project because, I didn’t have very much homework. I felt like we all worked on the project.
For the purposes of this assignment, our team chose to compare and contrast three unique project management tools. First, we chose Microsoft Project, a prominent player in the project management space. We opted to assess Microsoft Project as opposed to Microsoft Sharepoint because from our understanding, Sharepoint is more of a document collaboration and sharing platform, whereas Project is Microsoft’s full blown project management suite. Secondly, we chose to assess Trello, another big player in the industry and rival to Microsoft Project. Lastly, we chose Asana. We chose to assess this lesser known project manager because our team members had
One thing I realized from doing this project was that I was motivated. For example, group work helped me to stay motivated and focused on the topic even when the topic sometimes confused me. This is because group work allowed me to interact and discuss the topic with group members instead of just reading articles. Moreover, it forced me to be responsible to others and, frequently then, to do more and better work on the project than I might have done when only responsible
There are a number of similar-sounding Python packages used to manage either versions of Python or packages in a project. If you’re not familiar with them, it’s easy to get them confused.
The purpose of this report is to outline the client’s requirements, discuss and understand the problems they are facing during the system design process, come up with appropriate solutions, and then design a social media fitness platform. This document will give the system developer an insight view in corresponding client’s needs, it contains all the information needed to develop the system.
