My full name is Campbell Keahi Lord, I feel like my first name is kind of boring there is no fancy story to it ( believe me i’ve tried to find one ). My parents just wanted to find a unisex name that they could live with. My last name I feel is a little more interesting and I get asked a lot of questions about it, but the name that I think is the coolest is my hawaiian middle name, Keahi. My mom gets full credit for giving me this name. My mom wanted me to have something from my hawaiian heritage, my grandmother ( on my mom's side) was born and grew up in Hawaii. Thus, my mom and uncle both got Hawaiian middle names. My mom just thought that she would pass it on, and I believe I will do the same I like my name since it sounds interesting
My surname is alexander. This is an amazing name to have. It is latinized from the Greek name Alexandros Which means “ meant to defend, to defend , to help”. In Greek mythology Alexander is another name for the hero Paris. The name has been used by kings in Scotland, Poland, and 8 popes. The most famous Alexander is , Alexander the great. He was king of Macedon in 4th century b.c. He built a huge empire out of Greece, Egypt, Persia, Paris and parts of India. The origin of this name is English, Dutch, Ancient Greece, and German.
My name is Jonathan Garcia. If Jonathan was a color, it would be blue it describes its cool just like Jonathan. My mom called me Jonathan because she really liked the name. I wasn't name after anyone but I have my dad's last name. My nickname is jo or Jon and my family calls me that because it's short name for Jonathan. If Jonathan was a animal he would be lion because lions are strong just like a Jonathan. My parents wanted my last name to be Garcia and my brother last name to be Sanchez.
Personally though, I do not dislike my name. It's alright, though it could be confusing when people just say Henry when both Yu and I are present. That's pretty much it, after all names aren't good material for bullying anyways.
My nickname Halemesh because it is a combination of my first and my middle name which is Meisha. When I was a baby my sister could not pronounce my name so she called me Hi-yee. We still laugh when ever we hear it.
I have a full Japanese first name, and I go by a shortened, Americanized version. My first name means nothing in Japanese, and it’s old fashioned, like Barbara or Margaret or Greta. Fashionable for a decade or so, and now painfully outdated. My middle name is Hawai’ian and is a suffix attached to the names of female royalty, and it means “heaven” or “sky.”
I got my name on the night of November 5, 2001. It was a brisk night in New York. My parents had named me Christopher Michael Donaghey. Michael was my father's first name so that’s where that had come from. The name christopher was just a random choice that my parents had made but it did have something in common with the fact that my mom if were to have a girl instead would have named her christina. The name christopher means carrier of christ because saint christopher carried the christ- child across a river. For me personally the name christopher never really stook so I just shortened it to chris. Which I like better but my grandparents and parents still always call me christopher. Another name that I have is cdon. I never made it but my
Do you like your name? I don’t mind my name. I have the same name as a famous swimmer, Caitlin McClatchey. My name means pure or virginal and my last name means wise. Shockingly, my parents came up with my name in the shower! My name comes from Irish origin. It means Catherine. In my chorus class, there are 3 Caitlins, and at my gym for gymnastics, there are 2 Caitlins.
I am one of those weird kids who goes by their middle name, which I totally blame on my mom. Victoria Lilly Myers. That’s my name. The story behind it is kind of cute though. My mom and dad both agreed on Victoria but could not agree on a middle name. My dad wanted to name me Victoria Secret! Holy cow! How embarrassing would that be? According to mom, she was big fat pregnant laying in the bed and dad was like, what about Lilly? Mom said a light bulb went off and she immediately knew that was it. When I was born she actually named me Lilly Victoria but when the forms came to fill out she said this did not flow right and named me Victoria Lilly. She made this decision knowing that she would call me Lilly because I reminded her of a beautiful delicate flower. The fact that Lilly’s are her favorite flower was an added bonus.
My Chinese name was chosen by my aunt. She was the only person who had a higher education and has more knowledge from rest of the family. So my mother decided to let her choose my Chinese name. Nevertheless,
A name is not just what you’re called, it is who you are. It is what you stand for and ultimately defines you as a person. Growing up, I used to think my name did not fit me and that nothing that my name stood for had anything to do with me. Now that I am older, I understand the real meaning of my name and how the traits that are connected with my name relate to the person that I have become and continue to develop into. My name represents who I am and who I plan to be.
My first name slides off your tongue effortlessly - Sean - a rudimentary four letter name. My parents elected to christen me Sean over their other two alternatives, Ethan and Ian, but it took them three days to choose. They wanted to see who I was. At the hospital, I was loud and boisterous – more like a rugby player than a scholar reflected in the other name choices.
The main fault I continue to find with it, is that it is a man’s name. My grandfather’s name to be to exact, Isadore. When friends would ask what my middle name was, if they could pry it out of me, I would say it was Isadora. I actually quite like Isadora, and wouldn’t be ashamed to tell people that. When I was in kindergarten, my teacher would use our names to put on the board to tell us what our responsibilities were for the day, such as line leader, or caboose. I also dreaded the day she posted my middle name for the whole class to see, and am glad that we no longer need line leaders in high school. My parents also felt that my name needed a second middle name to add to the uniqueness. “Bravo” was my maternal grandmother’s maiden name. I tend to leave it out when people ask for my middle
I once heard someone say, “This is the beginning, of anything you want it to be.” My own beginning started on February 16, 2006, which was a very snowy and cold afternoon in February. I am the first child of two in my family. My mom and dad are Trisha and Jeremy Andrews. My mom had heard my name and thought it was spectacular, so I ended up with the name of Kylie Claire Andrews. Some of my younger friends call me Ky because it is easier to say. I tell my other friends and family, they can call me anything they want except for Kyle!

By far, my favorite name is Anika. When I was a baby my mother asked my sister what I should be named. My sister was only five at the time, so she picked a barbie princess she loved. My mom liked the name so she named me Haley and made my middle name Anika. Since my sister has passed, I take comfort in the fact, my middle name was given to me by her. If I would have been born as a boy, my parents would have named me Conner. Conner is my little brothers name, so they did get to use it eventually.
