I Look Like A Werewolf: A Narrative Fiction

I walked to it and tried prying it from the ground with my fingers. A twig broke behind me and I jumped and spun around. It was dark now and the only light was from the full moon. I had a bad feeling start to pump through me. I turned and ran trying to evacuate the danger I felt nearby. I ran through brush that looked like claws trying to grab my ankles. And as tree limbs came down snatching at my skin I tripped and fell. I saw a tree nearby that looked welcoming and I tried to use it as cover. Black wings busted through the trees and run started echoing around me in a croaked out a raspy breath.

My hands were covered in blood.. It was only a matter of time till they caught me.. I could hear the roaring of the wind. The heavy breathing coming from my own chest.. My stomach ached in pain. I could feel the tears beginning to escape from my eyes...

“I’m adopted,” I mumble, even though he should already know what the ‘outburst’ was for.

It was already dark and we were worn out. My sister-in-law was so enervated that she fainted, but no one was concerned; everyone kept walking. My mother implored the coyote to help us and to not leave us. The coyote stopped and allowed everyone to rest; meanwhile, my sister-in-law recovered. We then kept walking for another three to four hours when we heard a helicopter. Everyone panic and started screaming “safety patrols!, safety patrols!”. The people threw themselves on the ground and pushed me to a cactus. The cactus thorns went profoundly into my skin, but I knew better than to make any noise. The helicopter revolved above us for about ten minutes and then left. We then kept walking thinking that, that was the worst that could

In the distance I could hear a scream, although it was fading and my eyesight was blurry. I tried to stand up as I remember but I was not able too. I kept wondering to myself if this was a dream, but I felt pain. Terrible pain. How could I feel this much pain if it was a dream. Then all at once it came back to me. The memory, the fear, the frightfulness, the nervousness, and the sadness.

I was wondering the forest when a Shadow Figure was following me. I started running, the Shadow Figure was chasing me from the forest. The Shadow Figure Chased me to a unfamiliar village. I was tired so I collapsed and fainted on the ground of the village.

A werewolf in folklore and mythology is a person who shape shifts into a wolf, either purposely, by using magic or by being placed under a curse. Werewolves were known in almost all European countries and cultures. Werewolves are only second in line to vampires in popularity.

However, I abruptly paused, seeing the golden glint on the frame around the mirror. The creature I had seen, was me. I collapsed onto the ground, pain being remembered again, and my limbs giving out.
