Immigration:
Does it put undocumented people at risk?
Imagine yourself walking in your town and having the fear of seeing immigration patrol. Being taken away in just a second and not being able to contact your family. The moment you see immigration patrol you get shocked; your mind goes blank and have no idea what to do but to panic and think of a solution to avoid getting close to them and getting deported. The fear of getting deported out of nowhere gains anxiety but even though you have no crimes on your record and you are not a United States citizen it makes you feel insecure and afraid. In 2014 Barack Obama's immigration speech, he says, " All of us are created equal and all have the chance to make our lives that we will" (105). Regardless

According to Issues and Controversies, "State Immigration Laws", it says," In June 2011, Alabama passed a law designed to crack down on its population of illegal immigrants. HB 56, as the law is known, imposes many restrictions on the lives of those living in the state illegally," That law was meant to help illegal immigrants work, but supporters argue that " illegal immigration is a major problem that needs to be corrected, and that illegal immigrants should not be allowed to avail themselves of government services and public benefits." And says, " By pressuring illegal immigrants to leave these states, proponents contend, the laws open up thousands of potential job opportunities for U.S. citizens and legal residents." Making immigrants leave after having HB56 open made a change for the United States citizens and residents by having more open job ability. Opening doors and giving opportunities to illegal immigrants gave less opportunities for those who have the rights to be in the United States. According to Issus and Controversies, "State Immigration Laws," many Americans are being shut out of perfectly good jobs because employers would rather hire illegal immigrants. Without a college degree, advocates assert, finding jobs can be a difficult task that is made even harder when illegal immigrants are competing for the same jobs." Illegal Immigrants tend to take advantage of the help that the United States does by over taking jobs and making it difficult for the citizens in the United States and residents to find

The immigration is an important phenomenon that exists throughout human history and the United States of America is not an exception of this “rule”. People leave their motherland to travel to different continent, country, island or state for many different reasons. Among these reasons (business, education, asylum and so on) it is very important to highlight one of the most sensitive: the economic reason or the desire to find a better job/life in order to help their families. The USA is usually considered a country the tradition of immigrants. Due to the fact that The United States of America rank the top five most rich and developed countries in the world, the flow of immigrants has been growing considerably. However, beside the millions of legal immigrants there are millions of illegal immigrants target as a struggle of the economy and a ruin of the middle class.
The United States is known as “the land of opportunities and hope” but it does not always offer what it portrays. Undocumented immigrants who come to the U.S. in search of “the American dream” have faced many injustices in this country, a country which claims to be free and fair. Undocumented immigrants are everywhere; however, not all immigrants are bad or trying to hurt others. In the United States, especially in California, Mexicans are the targeted group when it comes to politics and other important government issues. Mexicans are seen as invaders who are constantly killing and raping, but in reality this is not true. There are some Mexicans who kill and rape, yet there are also Mexicans who come to the U.S. to work and provide for their family.
Imagine putting yourself in the shoes of an illegal immigrant. You have to feed your family, get money to pay the rent, and prevent getting caught from immigration authorities. The consequences for getting caught could include deportation or serving time in jail. 11 million undocumented immigrants currently live in the United States and have a family to take care of. Families caught under pressure in their own country might not have a choice but to enter a country illegally. Others would say that immigration laws should not let illegal immigrants into the US regardless of the circumstances, but these Immigration laws are unorganized and broken because millions of undocumented
I’m going to be writing about undocumented workers in the United States. Undocumented workers get hired for multiple reasons, but the biggest reason is them being illegal immigrants. I choose this topic because I tend to go into business administration, and this is a growing problem in the U.S. I’ll be explaining why companies tend to hire undocumented workers and what kind of benefits the workers get when they aren’t documented.
Illegal immigration has been a hot topic for conservatives and liberals for decades. The twenty-sixteen presidential race has swept the controversial subject back into the limelight with the concern regarding Mexicans. Liberal media like ABC, CNN, NBC, the United States Government, and CBS have claimed that illegal immigration from Mexico hit a net zero in two-thousand-and-ten and since more Mexicans have left the United States than have arrived. The University of New Hampshire, a source of liberal propaganda, did a study based on census data in twenty-fifteen that claimed that Mexican immigration has decreased by 50% in the past five years under President Obama. Democrats use facts to try and dismiss the growing issue of illegal Mexican immigration but everyone knows the numbers don’t add up with the respectable folks of the rural south. Rusty Smith, a resident of the guns-for-all community in southern texas, claims that about half the people he's come to encounter recently are mexicans. Rusty claims that “Mexicans are stealing our Jobs. I took a few months of for work because the weather was so nice and when I
The eleven million illegal immigrants living here in the United States of America should be allowed to receive a ‘Path to Citizenship’. A majority of these people are struggling to get into America for valid reasons and not for the wrong reasons that most people think are unreasonable excuses of attempting to cross the borders illegally. Democrat Charles E. Schumer states, “By fulfilling reasonable requirements such as paying fines, learning English, and waiting their turn to be considered, these immigrants could become law-abiding citizens,” (Schumer 22). If they have been paying their taxes, following the rules as if they were an actual
Immigrants come to the United States to live the American Dream. The dream of equal opportunity to achieve success through hard work and determination. Unfortunately, the majority of immigrants are not legally eligible to live in America. However, these immigrants go against the laws in the United States. Without having the opportunity to pass to the border legally, most of these immigrants choose to go through the toughest mission to enter America. They go through many obstacles such as, crossing rivers with depths up to sixty feet, walking long distances of a desert, and climbing mountains. Some immigrants succeed in crossing the border, while others die on their way due to dehydration and starvation. Although, they go through a tough journey, they are living in America with the fear of being deported. This later becomes a big impact for families.
Immigration reform is one of the most pressing issues confronting United States Legislators. Do you know why illegal immigrants come to America or any other country? Why is the matter illegal? Some say they leave their home country for a better life and work while others may say for religious reasons or just to get away. Some come for more opportunities and education and a better way of life. What is really the incentive for this? Do you agree or disagree with the law that an illegal immigrant must be demoted back to their country or origin. Do you have sympathy for such actions or are you completely against it? Hopefully if I give you the logical enough reason I can open your eyes and mind to obtain some of my reasons about illegal immigrants.
Illegal immigration has become a huge issue in the United States, it is estimated that there are about twelve million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. today and that number is growing larger every day. This issue has caused multiple social, economic, safety, and law issues within the country. The state and federal government is using billions of dollars on things such as school, welfare, and medical and receiving minimal or no money in return simply because they are giving out the money to illegal immigrants who do not pay taxes to help fund things. Even though illegal immigrants help the economy, take low paying jobs, and improve the overall image of America, the U.S. must not allow any persons who enter this country illegally to
The first immigration police I would like to address if the idea that “It's just as easy for immigrants to enter the contrary legal today as it was for my ancestors.” This quote is very powerful and expresses the idea that it is just easy to enter the contrary in morderen time as it was in the past, but I find this to be false for example “the skills need in America today are drastically different from the skill need the past.”(Stier, ken). For example in the pasted the united States need people to build and expanded to keep allowing the US to grow and develop. Nowadays the skills need have changed drastically, we are not looking for everyday joe to working fast food restaurants. The US is looking for doctors and engineers to start diagnosing
There have been over 11 million immigrants in the United States illegally and the issue still continues. Some people have said that illegal immigrants benefits the U.S economy. The only thing is that immigrants are illegally passing the border without proper documentation. I’m for it because it will make the population bigger.
My heart truly bleed for the individuals that are suffering abuse from drug cartels and sex traffickers. Their country refuses to protect their citizens! These individuals need to direct their anger towards their leaders for failure to protect. Why are you mad at Americans who do not want to allow you in our country! If the parents are paying several thousand dollar to a smuggler to assist in smuggle their children to the U.S Border- traveling through the dangerous parts of Mexico- why don't the just all move to safer part of Mexico?? There are several reasons why I think America needs to have stricter and more secure borders I live in a city that borders Mexico- Since moving Here, I can see now how important it for congress to act and make stricter laws regarding the border and enforce deportation!!. I can not find work here and suffer horrible discriminated
Five reasons why you shouldn't moved to america are because illegal immigration/ over populated, laws, men make more than women, Discrimination and the economy , we are a corrupted and broken country and we need to change our priorities. To be honest we have so many people that come to the United States to get a better life and I understand that but we need to put a limit on that. Right now we need to just need to be accepting refugees into the USA. Plus there are too many illegal immigrants in the US and we need to put a stop to that. Some of the laws we have here are great and I Understand that they want to help the citizens to their best interest but at the same time some of the laws are outrageous, that could be changed a little. The fact
president wants to deport all undocumented immigrants no matter how well they are doing in America. These days, over one-quarter of the farmhands in the United States are immigrants working here illegally. The president doesn’t realize that these immigrants help or economy This is how the growers and immigrants will respond to President Trump’s threatened crackdown on immigration: They will lobby, asking Congress to provide some legal option to hang on to their foreign work force. The president wants to build an expensive wall along the southern border to keep “rapists” and “criminals” from Mexico from illegally
