We should follow the company policies and procedures relating to suspected abuse, and the action to take. These will inform you of the proper course of action, who to report it to, and what responsibilities are as an employee of that company. We should immediately report any suspicion or allegation of abuse to either the Academic Registrar (where the person alleged to have been abused is a student) or the Director of Personnel Services (where the person alleged to have been abused is a member of staff). If you wish to report an allegation or suspicion of abuse out of hours please contact the University of Bristol Security Services. Do not attempt to assess whether or not the allegations are true and do not attempt to deal with any suspicion

Company X is committed to providing education for each employee to report unethical behavior and resolve conflicts without fear of retaliation. One such example would be the need to report employee theft. Employee theft is not only unethical but could also be criminal in nature. Regardless of employee status (entry level or upper management), each employee should feel it their responsibility to report any unethical behavior they observe. Employee theft can range from theft of money, time, office supplies or merchandise to providing proprietary information to unauthorized entities. These activities can result in a negative public image of Company X and should be reported as quickly as possible. Prior to reporting such offenses, each employee should ensure the accuracy of the evidence they will be reporting. There are various methods to report such abuses including but not limited to an anonymous toll free hot line number, verbal or electronic reporting to the local Human Resources office and the open door policy which encourages employees to approach members of management without the fear of
Abuse may be revealed in a number of different ways. For example you may find that someone wants to tell you about it because they trust you. Also it might be from someone who has observed the abuse taking place, e.g. resident seeing a care worker shaking another resident because they were too slow getting dressed. The abuse is disclosed to the professional, sometimes with a request for confidentiality.
The show I choose to write about is a series on HBO titled Insecure, it takes place present time. It follows two black women, Issa and Molly and their uncomfortable experiences as professional black women in Los Angeles. It this particular episode, titled " Shady as Fuck", Issa is scrambling to fix a problem that has the student she works chant inappropriate lyrics and tests her current relationship she has with Lawrance. I choose this show because the scenarios that these women have to go through are topic and events I can relate too.
Sherman and Berk’s (1984) study on spousal abuse can help explain how the research circle works. Bachman and Schutt (2014) define the research circle as a “diagram of the elements of the research process, including theories, hypotheses, data collection, and data analysis (Bachman and Schutt, 2014, p. 34).” The scientific research process can be represented as a circle beginning with a theory, to developing a hypothesis, collecting data, and making empirical generalizations. The study attempted to determine way to prevent the recurrence of domestic violence by repeatedly linking theory and data, developing both hypotheses and empirical generalizations (Bachman and Schutt, 2014).

What would you do if you ever found out that one of your coworkers are doing something they shouldn’t? There are many different ways you can handle the problem. ‘If I suspect abuse through noticing a sign of physical abuse or change in the behaviour of an individual, I will make sure that I ask the individual what has happened telling the individual the changes that I have noticed. If it is in my place of work and the name of the person that abused the individual is known, whether staff or another service user, I must also record and report this. I will listen to the individual carefully; it is up to them to tell me, I would not ask them any questions about this as this is not part of my job role and would stay calm.I will make sure that I record what the individual tells me using the individual’s own words. I will make sure that I reassure the individual and explain that their safety is the most important and that it is my duty of care to tell the manager. I will make sure that I let my manager know what has happened immediately and pass
The aim of this assignment is to enable learners to understand the theoretical models of child abuse and consider the implications of each model. There are many theories about why people abuse children and who are more likely to abuse. These models aren’t rules or laws and they may have flaws. I will be comparing and writing about these flaws and also where the models have a point and backing these up with cases of child abuse which have been in the media. The models that I will be describing, comparing and evaluating are the Feminist Model, the Social learning theory,
Presenting an alternate form of questions to the suspect is the seventh step. The investigator will ask a question with a positive and negative choice. Both choices usually result in the suspect admitting some sort of guilt. An innocent suspect will listen to both choices and reject both of them. The alternative should be followed up with a statement of support in which the interrogator tells the suspect that they think it was done for a good reason. (Buckley, 2000)

You must use your professional judgement to decide whether to share or not, and what information is appropriate to share. Base your information sharing decisions considering the safety and well-being of others who may be affected by their actions. If you decide to share an information then record what you have shared, with whom and for what purpose. If you not sure of how to deal with the situation then seek advice from your supervisor or from a professional body.
This essay will describe the models of abuse and compare them; there has been some controversy over these and this will be lightly discussed.
